Be interesting to see how the team comes out in its first drive. If the Vikings score a TD and the Bears go 3 and out, we might be in for a long day. Hate to say it, but I hope we see another pathetic performance. The more bad losses, the worse it gets for Trestman.

This. We should be done catering to Cutler. Instead of catering to the problem, we should probably address it. This guy is a coach killer, plain and simple.

How does Mel Tucker not get fired yesterday?

The Bears hired: -A Canadian head football coach -The defensive coordinator of the Jacksonville Jaguars -The special teams coordinator of the Dallas Cowboys What possibly could have gone wrong? -
They need to hire a football czar, but keep in mind Bill Parcells and guys like Mike Holmgren failed miserably in that role for the Dolphins and Browns respectively. Bill Polian is 71 and I think he's starting to go a little senile if you listen to him on ESPN sometimes. They gotta find someone, I'm just not sure who it is.

No coaching changes, no nothing. What a joke of an organization.

Trestman is not a head coach and he's not a coordinator. Nice guy, just doesn't belong in the NFL. I do feel bad for him, unlike Lovie, who I had zero sympathy for. You hate to see coaches get fired, but his fate has been sealed. The real question now is whether Emery's job is safe? Never thought that was possible this year before now. There's some chatter about this being a clean house after the year. Ownership is not happy.

I agree with everything except the last point. It wouldn't make any sense to get rid of Cutler and keep Trestman. The locker room has already been lost. Once that happens, once you see players quitting, there is no getting it back. Trestman HAS to go if you want to salvage next season. Nice guy, but not a good coach. The Bears are probably going to have to keep Cutler around for one more year, hire a HC on the condition that a high pick will be spent on a QB who will have the opportunity to start right out of the gate. I would love it if they just ate all the money and got rid of him. That would be the best thing possible. I just don't think it's likely.

Dumb ass Trestman leaves starters in and now Marshall is hurt. If this guy isn't fired by the time this game ends..
-
Lol we spent a 6th round pick on this god awful punter who takes 30 years to set up his kick.
-
What's the NFL record for TD passes? 6 or 7? I'm only watching this 2nd half to see Rodgers break the record.
-
Feel bad for a guy like Jay Ratliff who brings it every night.
-
It's comical how Rodgers does the same exact thing to the Bears every game, almost the exact same way. Receivers open by 15 yards downfield, he never has to hurry his throws, free releases everywhere.. Barely breaks a sweat.

After next week, we could be two games out of 3rd place.

I've lost it...we really are ran by a bunch of clowns

Now we know where the Bears get their bad rap from in terms of upper management. They are all weird. I'm embarrassed. I was a McCoy guy and less so Arians because I didn't like the way he got Andrew Luck killed with poor offensive line play, and felt like his offense was too similar to Mike Martz, but I did acknowledge that the guy can coach. The record speaks for itself. -
Wouldn't offer anything more than a 5th rounder.
-
The funny thing is it was the EXACT SAME dance that blew out Stephen Tulluch's ACL. The exact same dance. Lol.
-
Meh, He didn't do very well in his only HC opportunity with the Saints while Joe Vitt and Sean Payton were suspended. Went 2-4. The offensive line also has been a near disaster this season compared to last. They have already given up more than the 19 sacks they gave up last year, and none of them look improved. Kyle Long hasn't gotten any better, and Jordan Mills has gotten worse. I'm not sure there is a coordinator on this staff that deserves their job back after the season.
-
The Bears have allowed 222 points this year, worst in the NFL. They added talent yet the results are the same. Mel Tucker is one of the worst coordinators in football, right along with Joe Decamillis. As far as Marshall being traded, I don't see the value unless a team offers a 2nd round pick. He's still a good player. I don't think very many teams will offer you anymore than a 4th rounder right now, and why bother with that?
-
Top 5 or 10 pick would be better than going for a shot at a 9-7 wildcard. We will be 3-6 after the GB game with still 2 games left with DET and 1 with DAL. Unfortunately, there are quite a few terrible teams in the league right now that are already ahead of the Bears in the lost column. I'm not sure a top 5 pick is possible with teams like Jacksonville, Oakland, Washington, Tampa Bay, and St Louis probably being worse than the Bears are right now. As far as I can see, they have at least 3 winnable games left on the schedule. 2 games against MIN and 1 against Tampa Bay. Knowing the Bears, they will probably win 2 out of the 3, if not all 3, plus maybe one other against New Orleans to screw up their draft position. 7-9 is their peak, 6-10 is realistically where I think they'll end up. Good enough for a pick outside the top 12, but not where they need to be to draft a franchise changer.

ROFL if Houston tore his knee up after celebrating a useless sack in a blowout. What a clown.
-
The team has quit on Trestman.
-
Top 5 pick please! We need it.

That may have been the worst call I've ever seen. Lol, that was not even close to a completed catch. The replay clearly shows he had no control once the ball hit the ground, yet the bias officials don't overturn it. No wonder the Pats are so good at home.
