  1. Great job by the offense to go 3 and out after stopping the Pats on the 1 yard line. Inspirational.
  2. Said it last year. The dink and dunk stuff can only work for so long. At some point, you need a take the top off the defense guy. Should have went after Darren Sproles in the off-season.
  3. Lol, we are going to get destroyed. Bottom 10 offense and bottom 10 defense is not a good recipe for success. With all this talent, it's an embarrassment. It all goes back to coaching.
  4. Lions pull another lucky win out of their ass.. This is not shaping up to be the Bears year..
  5. According to Zaidman, the Patriots are 40-3 at home since Tom Brady tore his ACL. Those are better numbers than Seattle. Scary to think about knowing the Packers are next. I'm not saying it's impossible, but it's highly improbable the Bears will be getting a W in these next two weeks. Two more losses basically puts you out of the playoff picture entirely unless you can run the table or get lucky making it with 9 wins.
  6. I'm just about ready to read some mock drafts. I'll give it about another week or two.
  7. I am 99% positive this will never happen for as long as Cutler is healthy. The Bears have 54 million reasons for him to continue to start. I just threw up in my mouth after typing that.

Great, another injury prone player. Wasn't this guy hurt a lot in college?
  9. As I said when it happened, the Bears missed out on Mike McCoy. SD looks like the real deal. They had a good team last year and played Denver well. Bears got stuck with a CFL coach who is in way over his head. I started seeing those signs early last year with his clock management and decision making that cost the team a couple of games.
  10. Miami's DB's completely dominated the Bears WR's. Total mismatch.
  11. IMO, Emery is too stubborn to admit a mistake that quickly. Also, you have to keep in mind that a new coach means a new quarterback. Jay Cutler is all but guaranteed to be in Chicago for at least another year, and there's no way any HC wants to inherit him as the starter. Only way I could see it happening is if Emery decides to draft a QB in the 1st or 2nd round and you end up with a Russel Wilson/Matt Flyn scenario where the young guy wins the competition in camp and you'll just have Cutler ride bench and collect checks all year before being cut or traded the following season.
  12. Trestman is not a head coach at the NFL level. That much is clear now. He's an OC. Doesn't have the knowledge or wherewithal to run a team in all phases. Unfortunately, it's going to take a monumental collapse from this team to get him fired, IMO. I'm not sure even a 5-11 year would do it. Might have to lose all but 1 more game this year. Knowing the Bears, they'll win 1 or 2 games at the end of the year to worsen their draft position, so instead of picking #5, they'll be like #12 or #13.
  13. It's going to be chaos in Chicago in 3 weeks. If this team finishes 5-11 or worse, Emery may have no choice but to fire Trestman. I don't know if they are going to be that bad, but 3 losses in a row with no playoff hopes could do some damage, psychologically, to the team, and they might just give up.
  14. A loss probably eliminates us from playoff competition. We are going to lose to New England and GB the next couple of weeks giving us 6 losses. Going to need a miracle.
  15. Gotta love TV. Commercial during a challenge. No need for a replay, just go straight to a break..
  16. LMAO. Right. Just like every grass surface is in the same condition as every other.
  17. Whatever the outcome of this game, the Bears just don't look like a team that is competing for anything. There is no consistency. None. That starts with the quarterback.
  18. I forgot to add the field blows. Worst in the NFL. It is not fair to professional athletes that they have to play on a Highschool surface.
  19. Protection blows, play calling blows, Cutler blows, Ratliff is a beast. Summary of the game so far.
  20. He is beyond awful. Glad he's back just in time to blow a coverage to allow an easy touchdown..
  21. This win would have felt better if the Packers didn't luck out at the end against Miami. Rodgers fumbles the game away but the Dolphins don't recover.
  22. I hate when Trestman goes into conservative mode. He's so annoying in these situations. Put your foot on their throats!
  23. That's how it's supposed to look. Well done. Now don't blow the lead.
  24. I'd like to know how many times this season the Bears have actually fielded a punt return that didn't end up being penalized. I bet you could count them on one hand.
  25. If that blocked extra point decides the game.. I swear it's like the special teams is purposely trolling us. Can't even enjoy a TD drive without something bad happening.
