  1. What? He was locked in to Marshall the entire time with defenders all around him. That was a horrible read. That wasn't an incidental tip.
  2. freakin Cutler with an INT already.
  3. I would have stuck with McCown. If Cutler is rusty and we lose, Trestman will look like a fool. If he's great, he'll look smart.
  4. How bad does that loss to the Vikings look now? God damn.. We could be in sole possession of 1st place right now and in control of our own destiny. Instead, we probably need to win out to even have a shot. Unlikely with Philly and GB coming up in a few weeks but miracles do happen.
  5. Good win. They need to build off of this and not go backwards against Cleveland next week. We have some pretty tough games remaining on our schedule with Philly and GB (probably with Rodgers).
  6. Alshon is a a better version of Marques Colston and Plaxico.
  7. Alshon Jeffery is an All Pro this year. Might be a top 5 receiver already in the league.
  8. sticking to blocks and over running his gap. You can say the exact same thing about Bostic.
  9. Good thing the Cowboys are stupid and are throwing the ball and not running every play.
  10. I know these guys are rookies, but Phil Emery may have blown both of those LB'er picks last year. They have gotten worse in every single game they've been out there.
  11. McCown has been everything we could have hoped for and more out of a backup. You don't want your backup to be the reason you lose games, and so far that's been the case. Unfortunately because of how bad the defense is, the Bears quarterback probably has to be the reason they win games, and that hasn't been McCown either.
  12. To think all of this could have been avoided had Trestman just went ahead and did the sensible thing and not started Jay against Detroit where he was clearly not healthy... Sigh..
  13. Games like these make me question as to whether or not he's more of an OC than a HC. He will get the benefit of the doubt because it's his first year, but he has already cost his team 2 games this year because of his decision making. That's the difference between making the playoffs and missing the playoffs.
  14. #1- He kicked it on 2nd down #2- It was 47 yards #3- It was 2nd down They had more downs to play with, 47 yards is not a chip shot, and you had been moving the ball down their throats for the majority of the game. Why settle?
  15. You don't freakin settle for a 47 yard Game winning FG with at least 2 downs to play with. If you lose yardage on two consecutive plays, you suck. Had the kick been inside of 40, kicking it would be understandable. Not 47. That is so damn conservative.
  16. I know it's only his first year, but I'm beginning to grow tired of Trestman's decision making already. I credit him for changing the offense, but he's been pretty bad at everything else.
  17. Then Gould misses.. Figures. Why kick it on 2nd down?!?!?!
  18. You have got to be kidding? LOL. That Vikings player should be cut tomorrow. First he drops a TD pass that winds up being a pick, and then he commits a facemask on the game winning FG. Unreal.
  19. McCown starting to play like Josh McCown. Referees also trying to take over.
  20. What a terrible possession there after Hester's return. How do you not move the ball more than 2 yards? Jesus.. Bad plays from McCOwn. First the sack and then Idk what the hell that last throw was to Bennett. That should have been a much easier FG than it was.
