  1. 3rd down defense is amazing for the Bears!
  2. Some of the worst officiating I've seen in a Bears game this year. Baltimore is lucky to be ahead right now. Lions lost too.. This is a must win game for the Bears to still have a shot at the division.
  3. There's the defense I know. Flacco shredding it apart.
  4. David Bass has made some plays. Huge one, there.
  5. Play calling in the redzone was awful there.
  6. Tough decision. I might think about letting him walk and save the money. If you draft a QB high, just play him. Very few high pick rookie QB's sit for a year anymore. They get thrown into the fire right away.
  7. I'd be tempted to still draft a quarterback in the 1st round, definitely in the first 2 because you're not looking for a future backup. They have so many needs on defense that it's going to take more than one off-season to fix. There really isn't a wrong position you could draft on defense.
  8. This defense makes last year's Saints look formidable.
  9. Worst defense in the history of the NFL.
  10. I'm not seeing the progress. The sacks against GB were nice, but most of that came after Rodgers went out of the game. They can't stop the run for shit, nor can they finish tackles. The safeties still take bad angles, and the LB'ers look clueless half the time they are out there. Maybe McClellin and Ratliff (when healthy) can start generating a more consistent pass rush when they come back. This run defense must improve though. If you can't stop the run, you don't have much of a chance in this league.
  11. I'll miss Peanut, but he can't run anymore, and father time has caught up to him. He likely played his last game as a Bear. As for Cutler, this is why he shouldn't have played yesterday. He was not at 100% and all he did was make matters worse coming back early and messing up his ankle. I trust Josh McCown to step up again. We are nearing the easy part of our schedule.
  12. The Division seems like a lost cause at this point, but the last wildcard spot is still up for grabs. Detroit's schedule is incredibly easy down the stretch, so unless they have some sort of major meltdown, It's going to be hard for the Bears to take the division. Obviously the Lions hold the tie breaker.
  13. Most frustrating loss of the season. No reason to have lost that game had McCown been in earlier.
  14. Worse coached game I've seen in a long time.
  15. Lmao, he goes to Josh McCown NOW?!
  16. He was wide open and he over threw the ball. That should be automatic.
  17. Instead a 3 and out because of 2 horrendous throws by Cutler.. freak you Marc Trestman.
  18. They finally caught a break! Missed FG. Now they better convert this into more points.
  19. Yep. Neither team is playing like they deserve a win right now, but the Bears have been worse. Multiple opportunities to take control of the game, and just not executing.
  20. Not a catch. Bears shoot themselves in the foot again with a holding penalty on Forte's TD run. Should be 17-14 Bears.
  21. I just don't get it. Trestman is a freakin idiot who has allowed this to happen. Cutler is very clearly not 100%, clearly not throwing the ball well at all, and yet he insists on keeping him in the game. THe play calling is now restricted, the Lions are sending interior blitzes knowing Cutler's mobility has been compromised, which just makes for a worse offense. 10 points through 3 quarters. Unacceptable and inexcusable. There really is no legitimate reason for him to be in the game right now, win or loss. You are trying to win a championship. Need to look at the bigger picture. You want Cutler healthy for a playoff run.
  22. Marc Trestman deserves to be ripped to shreds if the Bears lose this game and Cutler continues to take this punishment while he's clearly injured.
  23. Jeffery has GOT to catch that ball. So many freaking missed opportunities today.
