  1. AJ McCaron would look good in a Bears uni next year.
  2. Anybody want to reconsider their position after this game? lol
  3. Maybe the Bears still need more time to evaluate him, but from my perspective, I already know who he is. I won't learn anything from next week's game that I haven't known already. The guy is never going to change for better or worse. He's the epitome of average.
  4. I wish. Won't happen though. Cutler is about to face his demons head on for the division title. Could be his last game as a Bear if things go wrong again.
  5. Don't fire Mel Tucker. What a guru that guy is.
  6. The most embarassing part about this is the fact that the offense STILL can't move the ball against the Eagles despite the game already being over. Usually this is where the losing team gets to stat pad and the winning team goes into conservative, grind the clock out mode.
  7. I know why they abandoned the run, but you act like the offensive line should be playing better despite the circumstances. Cutler hasn't done them any favors with the way he has been playing either. He nearly lost a fumble on a play where he was holding the ball down at his waste. His mechanics are not very good when he gets pressure. Sometimes the pressure isn't needed, which is the most concerning part.
  8. All starters except Cutler should be out right now.
  9. I still think this is one the worst defenses in NFL history. It's definitely the worst Bears defense in NFL history. I have never in my life seen a team this poor in run defense. And people think Mel Tucker should keep his job..
  10. They abandoned the run early in the 2nd quarter. What else do you expect? Doesn't help when your quarterback puts the offense in difficult positions when he holds onto the ball and throws ground balls into the dirt.
  11. Lost a lot of respect for this team tonight. The Eagles look like the team that has a chance to win the division tonight. This team has no pride.
  12. I'm done with this game. I can't even type I'm so mad right now. If Rodgers comes back next week, the season is OVA.
  13. They should implement a mercy rule in the NFL. If you are winning by 30 points in the 2nd half, the game should just be over.
  14. Cutler looks awful. Another 3 and out...
  15. And now Hester fumbles the ball away. Please don't get embarrassed on National TV.
  16. And just like that it's 7-0. This could get ugly if the offense doesn't score on this possession.
  17. Cutler holds the ball and misses guys wide open on the left side of the field..
  18. We will see how much the Eagles want to fight for seeding tonight. A win means next to nothing for them because the division will come down to their game against Dallas in week 17. Hopefully their players will not be as amped up tonight for that purpose. I don't think Chip Kelly had planned to rest anybody going into the game. We'll see how it goes. Go Bears!
  19. Bears can clinch tonight! Don't screw this up!
  20. I know. That's why I said I'd prefer the Saints to be the wildcard as opposed to the Panthers in Game 1 so if we win, we'd be playing in Carolina for Game 2 instead of in New Orleans where we'd surely lose. And of course, that all depends on the final seeding. We'd need to win the last two games to get the 3 seed, right?
  21. GB being gift wrapped a win by the referees. One of the worst calls I have ever seen in my life on a blocked FG.
  22. Outside of the injuries, the three major areas that have plagued the defense this season are poor angles , bad tackling, and gap discipline. Those are reflective of coaching. The Bears weren't this bad at it last year with Lovie. Chris Conte and Major Wright went from serviceable safeties to maybe out of the NFL in less than a year. Even the game planning by Tucker has been horrific this season. The Bears had no idea how to defend the read option against Washington last year because Mel Tucker was telling his DE's to crash down on every play, leaving the outside WIDE open. A hobbled RGIII tore our defense apart thanks to this awful strategy. I also don't think it's a coincidence either that our defense is so pathetic at getting to the quarterback. Mel Tucker's defenses in Jacksonville were routinely at the bottom of the league in sacks.
