  1. McCown gives the team the best chance to win right now. Cutler isn't moving well, and had nothing on that last throw.
  2. My god that was so easy for Detroit.
  3. The offense has been moving the ball through the air fine, but they have to finish drives with points. The run game needs to get going as well. Stop running up the middle, let Forte run outside the tackles. It works better.
  4. When you have two big targets like Alshon and Brandon, why not go back shoulder? That should be automatic. Instead Cutler makes a low throw through traffic that gets picked off..
  5. Both teams want 7 instead of 3. Hard to turn down taking the lead.
  6. Major wrong. Should have been a gift wrapped takeaway.
  7. About to be 7-7. Stafford has 3 years to throw the ball.
  8. I don't want him to play. Nhdamakung Suh is going to make every attempt to rip his leg off. Huge risk IMO to play him this week, of all weeks, against this team. If he re-aggravates it again, he's probably done.
  9. Love that we are one of the least penalized teams in the league on offense. How many pre-snap penalties have we had this year? I don't remember many, and I can't remember the last time one was called. Speaks to the discipline Trestman is teaching these guys. I also like how the play calling has evolved over the course of the season. We are now seeing more read option/packaged plays and pistol formations to mix it up a bit. I love that. I love the ghost action too with Jeffery. He's running that same play out of different formations and nobody seems to know how to stop it. Defensively, we are getting worse. The safeties are terrible, the LB'ers can't stay in their gaps, the D-Line isn't getting the consistent pressure that we need in order to shore up those other deficiencies. The special teams have also been equally as brutal as the defense. Amazing how much of a flip it's been since last year when you had to rely on defense/special teams to win you games on most days.. Not so anymore.
  10. Offense: Total Yards: 10th PPG: 2nd Yards/Play: 5th 1st downs/Game: 12th 3rd down %: 21st Penalties: 3rd least penalized Sacks: 3rd (only 12 allowed) QB Hits: 10th (allowed 38 hits) ------------ Defense: Total Yards: 26th PPG: 29th Yards/Play: 31st 1st downs/game: 19th 3rd down%: 26th Sacks: 28th Takeaways: 4th Defensive TD's: 5th All I have to say is: Can you imagine this team if LAST YEAR's defense was playing for them with the offense they have now? A year too late it seems, which goes back to the day Phil Emery was hired. He came in under the condition that he had to keep Lovie for a year. I said it was stupid when it happened, and I stand by that. If you are hiring a GM, don't hamstring/delay him from making the moves he feels is necessary to make your team better. All that did was set us back a year from ultimately hiring a better, more knowledgeable coach to bring us in to the modern era of offensive football.
  11. With the Ratliff signing, is there even enough money to sign another FA off the streets?
  12. One thing I learned from tonight's game: This offense might just be for real now. It's one thing to drop 40 against the Washington Redskins defense, but its another to put up 27, with zero help from the defense, against the GB Packers on MNF with a backup quarterback.
  13. Just changed the entire future of the NFC North with one play. Played the game of his life tonight. 3 sacks, and multiple pressures. Hats off to him. Hopefully this gets him going. He may have just revived our playoff hopes by knocking Rodgers out of the game. Somewhere Phil Emery has a smile as wide as the Grand Canyon.
  14. What crap officiating.. Bears got screwed out of a possible game ending TD drive with a phantom hold on Bennett.
  15. McClellin with another pressure! Big sack on 3rd down.
  16. They really need to put the Packers away. Bennett also needs to stop dropping passes. That was huge.
  17. Shea McClellin is the MVP of this game so far.
  18. They can both go, and take that shit defensive coordinator with them.
  19. LMAO, how do you miss that pick 6?????? What an embarrassment of a defense.
  20. You have got to be kidding me with that run... If we lose this game, I'm going to go ape shit.
  21. I'll take a 17-10 lead going into halftime. Now it's about coming out strong and putting up points to start the 2nd half. Need to take complete control of the game. If Seneca Wallace beats us with his arm, you might as well just cancel the rest of the season. It's Eddie Lacy or bust for the Packers. Don't screw it up! Josh McCown looks ridiculously poised. Offensive line doing a great job giving him time.
  22. Honestly, maybe both. With all the injuries, it could get 2012 Saints bad.. We can't even stop runs with 8 man fronts right now. It's getting ridiculous. Jay Ratliff needs to work a miracle.
  23. This is the worst defense I have ever seen in my life. Packers had a lead blocker on that big run, and he didn't even have to block anybody because the LB'ers were running the other way.
