I have seen videos of Long doing OT drills at the Lecharles Bentley camp so that might be a thing. Long has the type of athleticism to play their. Long-Slauson-Grasu-Whitehair-RTguyWhoseNameIsAlludingMe could be pretty sexy.
Made a whoopsy and forgot to pay my cell phone bill so I wasn't able to chime in.....Very interesting pick with Whitehair.. Gonna be really interesting to see how the OL plays out. Long to LT? Slauson or Whitehair moving to center? I'm gonna wait and see what the plan is before bashing it.
Bullard is real good value in the 3rd.
Didn't catch what the Bears got in the 2nd trade down? Another 4th?
I feel like you don't have to look any further than Aldon Smith when looking for a comparison. Watch Floyd highlights followed by Smith and it's like watching the same player.
What is interesting is I read that Floyd played on the edge only 61% of the time. Lined up in the middle and in the slot from time to time.
His ability to stunt inside looks great. That is something the Bears didn't have with any of the slower guys. If I remember correctly Fangio had Smith stunt inside quite a bit. With the massive DL in front of him interior linemen are gonna have a heck of a hard time dealing with them and Floyd going from the outside in.
Floyd was said to be the top player on the Giants draft board so it makes sense. If they think he's Aldon Smith/Von Miller, I don't blame them for taking the pick.
I have been against an OLB, but I get it. Speed wasn't there among the OLBs.

According to this the Giants really liked Floyd.
Not sure why the link didn't work but it said the Giants had Floyd on top of their board.
