    Kevin White

Can't copy and paste tweets, but it's all over Twitter. Quotes came from Pace. Just a brutal loss. I guess in the broader picture, the Bears aren't winning anything this year anyway, so get this injury cleared up and get him healthy for next year.
  2. No real surprises here. Am hoping to see Goldman work his way in to the starting lineup with Ratliff moving over to the 5. Al Louis is a little lower than I would have thought. Forgot about Terence Mitchell, he could be a guy.
  3. I keep hearing that defense is ALWAYS ahead of defense in camps everywhere. So I think the no picks is applaud worthy. I think he has a big year, and ill have a new Jay Pro Bowl profile picture this time next year.
  4. Isn't big enough for OLB but hes just a few pounds away from playing around Bowman and Willis size for ILB. When Bread about him, it sounds like hes a pretty good JACK prospect. The JACK for those who don't know is the ILB who does it all, the jack of all trades.
  5. Fun fact, hes 80% blind in one eye. Could be why he was a non prospect come draft time. I watched a video from when we was drafted and the reporter said he scouted 503 players...wells wasnt one of em.
  6. http://www.nepatriotsdraft.com/2015/05/pos...-wells-lbs.html Solid report here. Guess he played all over for MSSU. Literally everywhere but on the line.
  7. Interesting thought. I believe I read somewhere that Fox has moved safeties to LB but perhaps they can go the other way with him.....Haven't read too much on him yet but he certainly has some speed to burn coming from centerfield. I'd say he just plays some ST while they mold him. Gotta get him in the weight room for sure. While his 4.44 speed would have ranked him 1st at the combine, his 15 reps would have ranked last by 3 reps.....that said its much easier to get stronger vs faster imo. Should be an interesting guy to follow.
  8. Wells was a 6th round pick in this years draft. Pats are a pretty good drafting team. Wells is freak athlete who, if coached up properly, could be a guy. Runs a 4.4. Came from a damn good Mississippi St. D. Kinda liked Groy, and the move comes with a little surprise after an Ola injury. Guess they still have Leno, Fab, and Grasu/Montgomery as backups (along with Ola when he returns).

    SMC

Jeff Dickerson made a really good point on the radio yesterday.... One of the biggest downfalls SMC has had in his career is getting off blocks...You know who else couldn't get off blocks? That one bald guy who played for the Bears all those years...Brian something...He was pretty damn good I'd say. Also mentioned Junior Seau couldn't get off blocks either.
  10. Haven't been able to follow much, so I'm curious as to why you think Ball is a $3Mill mistake? Have there been negative reports out there? I know I read into PFF stuff way too much, but he was a top 30 or 40 CB 2 years ago. If anyone can bring that level of play back out of him, it would be Donatell/Fox/Fangio.

    Finally

Recent reports have made it sound like White could be out there any day now.
  12. Wouldn't hate it, but there already is some hope at CB like Griz said. I think we all hope Fuller is the guy we saw the first few weeks of last year. I think Jennings will thrive in a more aggressive scheme. Ball is a big time sleeper IMO. Porter have been there. McManis has gotten love. I still think Al Louis-Jean has some potential. All in all there's some intrigue there. One things for certain, Foxy and Donatell are 2 of the best minds when it comes to DBs. If they think we're good there, I'll take their word for it. Would rather throw money at Maths or McDaniel.

    SMC

To elaborate just a bit, he said he's the guy out there putting people into position. That pretty much is covered in calling plays, but just encase it needed to be said, ill throw that out there. Also Johns (or Jahns) said he thinks Jones has the leg up on the other spot.

    SMC

Adam Johns was on some show today and he said he'd be shocked if SMC isn't one of the starting ILBs. Guess he's been the one calling plays out there.
  15. Absolutely would love McDaniel. Perfect replacement for McDonald. McDaniel actually played the 5-tech with Seattle so yeah. They play a 4-3 under, which is essentially what the Bears will be running. Adding him would be huge. I like Rat-Goldy-Ego but after that the depth is not that good to me.
  16. I'm Forte yds to freedom in the free league. Looks like killa can take twigs spot in the pay league....if Nopper or Kam leave the pay league I'm open to taking one of those spots.
  17. For whatever reason I can't get my phone to post a link, but there are reports floating around that the Bears are interested in adding Jermaine Gresham. If his backs fine this would be a fantastic move. Gase used a lot of 2 TE sets in Denver even with the 3 headed monster he's had at the WR position. Plus there's not much depth behind Marty anyway.

    Houston

Well color me surprised....TerraTor hates something. This is new.
  19. I love McPhee... But #2 is a bit high for him.
  20. I put last years rating in there. 2nd among guards. So the last 2 years he ranked 1st then 2nd in the league. He absolutely should be asking for big time money. I can't really answer why he didn't play much up until the last 2 years, all I know is the last 2 years he's been elite, and that's why I want him on my team.
  21. Kinda funny PFF was brought up in a thread about Mathis. Esp. When the guy who brought PFF up is against his signing. In 2013 Mathis was PFFs top rated OG, and had the 7th highest rating overall. Last year he was only behind Marshall Yanda as far as OGs. Yes, he's 33 and yes he's gonna want a pretty penny (rightfully so), but if Long plays OT at a high level in camp then this signing is a no brainier to me. The money is there. No matter what you think of Cutler, even if he stinks it up with an elite OL in front of him, it still would be nice to have this guy on your roster come 2016 should Cutler be gone.
  22. I understand wanting to develop players but who are we really talking about developing here. Ducasse who was cut for being bad at football? One of the past 2 late round draft picks Leno and Fabulaja (or whatever his name is)? An undrafted Ryan Groy? If we're talking about signing Mathis to play over a 1-4th round pick then ya, I'd be SLIGHTY disappointed, but when we're talking about not signing an all pro player because we wanna see bad/late round guys develop I really don't see the problem. From all I've read he has quite a few teams looking at him. Couple that with his agent being Drew Rousenhaus and I'm sure there's a bidding war going on.
  23. Had to come back here to see why people would pass on him.....just wanted to point out that he asked to be released after wanting to be the highest paid OG in the league. He's said to be looking for 5.5M. Depending on how many years he's looking for I would do that all day (Assuming Long looked good at OT). 3/15 is the highest Id go.
  24. Why are you in the "no thanks" category? If Long has been playing well at OT then signing Mathis would be huge.
  25. I'm in for the free league for sure. How much is the pay league? Might be interested this year.
