Reports are Pace is in Denver, so this is still on going.
-
Peyton Manning did it.
-
Kyle wasn't on that Denver staff, that was his pops. Pops utilized him differently than what we saw here for the most part, rolling him out quite a bit which is something that needed to be done here. Jays best year he was sacked just 11 times, 1.8 percent of the time, and he reponded with a pro bowl year. That's where I get off in saying that I think Jay can be a good QB with better protection.
-
That's why I'm hoping we sign a proven guy. Word of Collins lapses in coverage scare me off, because thats exactly what we need out of him, sound coverage.
-
FWIW, his offenses have finished in the top 10 in yards 4 of 7 years, so they can at least move the ball. With the big targets we have here perhaps those yards turn into points more often than not. I could see his reason for leaving Cleveland is not wanting his name associated with Johnny Manziel who I think is gonna be a joke no matter who the coordinater is. I know if I was an OC, who has gotten HC buzz mind you, I wouldn't wanna hurt my stock working with a guy who I think will be a lost cause. With Johnny and Josh Gordon, that has circus written all over it. Speaking of circuses...how bout that redskins organazation.
-
Hopefully he gets a chance to play somewhere. He probably would get drafted next year regarfless but if he doesnt play, to prove it it wasn't a fluke, his stock will be much lower than it would be right now. Attention OSU QBs Northwestern could use a QB, just saying.
-
Kind of out of left field here, but Chris Harris Jr. Has been a John Fox success story. He's a free agent and would be a real nice pickup.
-
Lol people are gonna love that last part. I of course am alright with it as long as we protect him.
-
Not sure if this is a testament to just how bad the qb class is this year, or just how good Jones looked in 3 games. This could help if the staff likes Hundley as he might make it to the 2nd now. I'm not opposed to Jones either.

Cooper is a fantastic talent, but unless they trade BM, I just couldn't pull that trigger. Could they make it work? Certainly. Do good teams always take BPA? You can say that BUT the Bears currently aren't a good team. As far as who I want at 7 that's hard to say. If we try to contend then I wanna see some established players brought in at MLB and FS so at that point, with no real corners worthy of a top 10 pick, Im hoping to see either Randy Gregory fall. If he doest then I'm taking the top tackle.

We all want them to hire who they believe is the best candidate right? Had they not already interviewed Quinn, then yes, it would be a mistake, but if they legit think hes the next big thing then its not the worst. It will no doubt be precieved as risky on paper though, I can't deny that....I'm not saying Im in favor of this, I've come around on Fox, simply saying its not the worst idea in the world.
-
Wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if they liked what they heard in his first interview.
-
Not gonna happen, but I'd be open with it if the OL improved and we can start to see the playbook open back up.
-
Still haven't heard anything different about Kubiak leaving Denver, but I certainly hope this reigns true.

http://mmqb.si.com/2014/12/02/nfl-mike-mar...ffensive-minds/ Gase gets the seal of approval from Mike Martz who calls him one of the best offensive minds in football.....Based off this, his genius is in the passing game, and I know that won't make most happy....That might even include John Fox.
-
Dennis Allen is said to be who Fox's DC would be.... I like what I've read about him. Results weren't really there but cmon he was on the Raiders. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1867452...ed-head-coaches (Its bleacher report, yes, but it's well put).

Considering Bowles hired Chan Gailey, who hasn't had an offense rank in the top 10 in points since 2001, or an offense that ranked in the top 10 in yards since 1998, I think we should be happy with a guy who's had at the very least moderate success recently.
-
Source? Thought he was sticking with Baltimore....Guess the Broncos job would be good enough to change your mind.
-
Sure about that? I thought assistants still in the playoffs couldn't interview? I think he is my top guy.
-
Believe he has to declare today, so again, tough spot.
-
He's been an OC for 7 years, in 4 of those his teams had a top 10 O. In Cleveland Brian Hoyer was his Qb, they missed Josh Gordon for pretty much the whole year, and their pro bowl TE Jordan Cameron missed half the season as well. Kinda tough to have success there.
-
Hired Chan Bailey as his OC. I would have been fine with a Bowles hire, but not with Chan Bailey as his OC.
-
Mel Kiper has already said, weeks ago that he has the best arm in college football FWIW, so ya, someone is gonna take a shot on him before the 4th.
-
Right now I've heard that experts have a 3rd round grade on him, if that hoods true and if he gets drafted around there then that team is gonna be willing to keep him around even if he struggles. Everyone knows he's green, but if you look at what he did in those 3 games, against 3 top 35 college defenses mind you, the talent is obviously there, Ya gotta realize he's on a team with Braxton Miller, who was a preseason heisman candidate, so he's in a real difficult postion. Does he stay in the system that is getting him the praise but also risk losing out to Miller? Transfer as a senior and have one year to pick up a new offense and risk faltering? Or ride it out and create a better life for your kid.

The guy is a 22 year old Junior who just had a kid, and isn't even gaurenteed a starting job next year. All those things considered I think he'd be "dumb as a box of hammers" not to.
