Possibly, but remember Kromer puts mor emphasis on guard play in his blocking scheme so they might wanna keep long where he is. I think they'd rather have Ola or Britton out there. With the way Ola has played at OG maybe not though
-
And then this happens.... Jeff Dickerson @ESPNChiBears 19m19 minutes ago Aaron Kromer tells us all #Bears can do is "prepare for the worst" in regards to Jermon Bushrod knee injury. Says they rotated players at LT Sigh. At least we get Slaus back which makes it possible for Ola or maybe even Long to kick out to LT.

It was under thrown assuming Bennett was running the right route, the argument here is that he didn't run the right route.
-
Yes but as you can see from the picture the safety was still 5 yards away from where the Bennett should have been. Had Bennett broke inside Graham would have been forced to stay with BM and again the safety would have been 5 yards off. Jim Miller broke down the play and said the same thing me and AZ said. Bennett should have been wide open whereas BM would have at least been covered by Graham if the play unfolds like it should have. As far as historically speaking, this thread is talking about how Trent Dilfer, who has always been a Jay hater, is saying he's been a different animal the last 2 years.

+1 Well said. 10-6 is a real possibility. IMO.
-
Good, we need him out there healthy.

The Bears are currently 2nd in red zone conversions this year at 71%. Last year they were 7th. So I wouldn't say he's been that bad in the red zone the last 2 years. As per the play in the Cossell article, there's no way you can tell who Graham was on. In picture 2 he was smack dab in the middle of the 2. The of course in picture 3 you see him favor Bennett because that's who the ball was thrown to. Based on the spacing of Marshall and Bennett, it's very likely that one was supposed break into the soft spot of the zone or curl back in. I really doubt they were both running a go route, esp. the TE. What he did on that play was quite the opposite of "see it throw it".

Will be interesting to see what they do with him. He's played CB and WR, and probably still needs to work on both. At 6'3" with 4.26 speed he's very intriguing, but still very raw. Perhaps Peanut or BMarsh (Depending on where they wanna put him) can put him under their wings and help in his development.

Crowd noise is about the only factor that makes home field advantage. When you're on the field what other advantage is there? Here's a thread and an article that talked about it a few years ago....Again I will add that I'm not sure if it's still a problem or not, but it most certainly had been. http://www.footballsfuture.com/phpBB2/view....php?p=14602331

Seriously, soccer has sensors on their damn goals or something like that. Make that happen NFL.

The D didn't really look that improved the last few weeks. Week in and week out I always made a post about the "Soft spot in the zone" that teams continued to exploit. Rodgers and the Pack just so happened to exploit that more.....Run defense appears to be much better this year but now this old scheme is just not working in the pass game. I'm not sure we have much of a home field advantage to be honest. The fans at soldier field are a buncha knuckleheads who don't know when to get quiet. I remember a few years back going to a game where they literally had to put it up on the megatron "Quiet Offense at Work".....I believe it was even brought up by Lovie.....Now I haven't really paid attention to it so far this year but ya, if the knuckleheads still don't know how to cheer than there's no home field advantage. Jay still looked rather good sans a few throws. And that was without BMarsh being at 100% and only catching 2 balls. Like Adam pointed out, this is a game they shoulda won even with those INTs thrown.

Rivalries are driven by fans IMO Should we be mad at Peanut as well? It's silly...I'm sure I could find more.
-
Are we really getting upset about Cutler and Rodgers "yucking it up" after the game? You guys sure would hate rugby. we got to the bar with our opponents each week. There's nothing wrong with sportsmanship.
-
I couldn't have said it better myself Adam. Well said. Looking at the schedule ahead it's not THAT tough. Carolina is not THAT good Atlanta is tough at home, but winnable Miami is certainly beatable Tom Brady and the Pats look average at best 3-1 is certainly possible making us 5-3 going into the bye.
-
This takes me all the way back to week 1 when the Bears would be "lucky to win 4 games"...C'mon AG, I know you hate Cutler, but the season is far from over. It's still week 4 for fucks sake. I will say that it looks bleak though. The pass defense, including the pass rush, was awful.
-
And then he calls an onside kick...Don't like.
-
This officiating crew has been awful...for both teams.
-
Called for the jump ball there, just a little too high, but still a ball Jeffery usually catches.
-
Love that nice long drive resulting in an easy TD.
-
6 I believe. Allen, Peanut, Ratliff, SMC, Slausson, and Garza (7 if you wanna include Fiametta)...And 4 others are banged up (Marshall, Jeffery, Conte, Mundy). ..And they've only played 3 games. Pretty sure Jesus doesn't like Chicago sports.
-
Jay Glazer @JayGlazer 1m Jared Allen is out today bc pneumonia. Weight dropped all the way to 237. Had another chest xray this AM. Still wanted to play It's not the flu....If dude wasn't able to eat and really dropped down to 237 there's no way he should be out there. I'm ready to unleash Willie Young.
-
I'm excited...Should be a good test. They've looked bad, but they also play 3 of the best defenses in the league so I'm not gonna pretend this will be easy. HAVE to get Forte goin right out of the gate. I'm sure after the last few games they'll be looking to defend the pass. Gotta force them to defend the run to open things up for the pass game.

Shaptons. http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/5893/darryl-sharpton I'm guessing they just didn't wanna place him on the partial season IR or whatever it's called? Bears signed him to a 1 year contract, and a high ankle sprain that happened a month ago doesn't seem like something that would be season ending.
