Who ya got??? It's gonna be a lot tougher than we think, Jets D has been pretty good and our WRs are still a little banged up. I'm predicting a close one and "Mr. 4th quarter" shows why he's been one of the most clutch QBs in history and leads the Bears to a 4th quarter 28-23 victory.

Based on what I read last year about the West Coast Offense I think it's fairly typical to start off slow. You work the run and short passes to set up the stuff down the field....Now if they're able to run the ball well and have success with the short passes then of course the success comes a lot sooner....I'd be curious to see splits on 1st and 2nd half, or quarter by quarter results under Trestman.

The thing is, McCown currently leads the league in INTs and he's also fumbled twice.

Clay Matthews was out 5 weeks last year with a broken hand so I'd say 4-6 since everyone heals differently. I also think if it doesn't require surgery (Matthews did) then he could play with a cast on and be back in a week or 2. I thought last game he played really well and hope he's back soon. I'm high on Bostic and low on Williams so eventually I would like to see Briggs-Bostic-SMC.

Bostic is starting and will stay in in nickle packages....No idea where TT is getting the idea that Jones is starting.

Way I see it is Jay is really only signed to a 3 year contract. If Trestman and company wanted to resign Josh and draft a QB they coulda done so in basically that same time frame. Trestman has to believe that Jay is the better fit in his system, and I won't question that....If you wanna believe otherwise, that's fine. I'll continue to defend it though, because this is after all a message board.

Well even if he has more pull it sure looked different in the offseason. Their whole draft was spent on offense, and they added a few key pieces on offense in free agency. It was "proven" against awful defenses...which to me didn't real prove anything. The weapons are less talented but he really shouldnt be this bad no matter who is coaching him. Vincent Jackson and Mike Evans are built in the same mold as Marshall/Jeffery. I'll give you his line has been bad...But I've watched every minute of the TB games so far and he's looked bad even when the pocket was clean. It is a little apple to oranges, but it was suggested that I make the thread so I did.

Both were supposed to be good this year though....Lot of people were calling Tampa a sleeper team, and last year Julio Jones was out and Roddy White played hurt all year which lead to them bein pretty bad.
