  1. I wouldn't go that far....Even after today I'd still be shocked if they're not at least 8-8.....I don't wanna build any excuses here but Santonio is not a #2 WR. If Alshon comes back and they stay healthy they're still gonna be good on offense.
  2. Holmes slipped on that one. But ya, not the best half.
  3. No flag for illegal contact past 5 yards???
  4. These injuries though... Michael C. Wright ‏@mikecwright 1m Alshon Jeffery hasn't been in the game in a while, and it looks like Brandon Marshall could be out after limping off that last series.
  5. He's 24-31 for 255 yards and has a 108.9 QB rating...Don't let your Jay hate fool you. He's been good today. And like B4E just said that pass to Forte was pretty too. Every pass can't be perfect.
  6. Jeez, thats the 4th offensive player to be shaken up in 2+ quarters
  7. After the replay, that was a real nice play by Conte, not just a mistake by Manuel
  8. Was begging for A TO but didnt wanna post it to jinx it...Atta boy Conte
  9. Well at least they get the ball to start the 2nd half. Couple of rough plays on the fumble and the pick killed them that half. Still think they win this game.
  10. That ones on Bennett...ugh
  11. x2..... He's seemingly getting more playing time than I thought. Been out there a lot. Haven't noticed Houston yet.
  12. And the offense made it look oh so easy! Great start to the season!
  13. After the first drive the Bears run D looked solid with some gang tackling!

    Clinton-Dix

Ha, didn't see this thread....I brought it up in the other thread....
  15. Packers are gonna have a lot of trouble stopping the run without Raji in the middle this year. Also checkout offseason golden boy HaHa Clinton Dix on this play... http://www.seahawks.com/videos-photos/vide...79-091df8232a20 I know it's just 1 play, and he's a rookie, but he'd get ripped a new one in a game thread here....Dare I say Chris Conte-esque.
  16. I'm willing to give it a shot. An improved DL is gonna help A LOT. I still really like the Allen-Houston-?-Young front 4 in passing situations. that's gonna create a lot of problems and make things easier on the back 7. I think the Bostic/Williams platoon will be above average assuming Williams stays healthy. Bears were good at stopping the run with him back there and I think Bostic in the nickle dropping into coverage is something he's gonna thrive at. Shea actually didn't look bad to me in preseason. He's def got the athletic ability to make that transition and OLmen not getting their hands on him right away to take away that athletic ability will help. Assuming Tillman is healthy and father time didn't beat em down, the CB group should be solid. Mundy will be fine. Conte, who looks like he'll be the starter, is in what I'm viewing as a tie break season. He was at the very least above average 2 years ago, and last year he pretty much sucked. Getting a pass rush will help him a lot IMO. I'm not gonna worry about things until they suck a few weeks in a row.
  17. Pretty boring sans Mitchell who I remember being highly thought of in the draft. Disagree that we lack depth on the OL....They aren't "names" yet, but Ola, and Leno looked pretty good in preseason and DLP can play all 3 interior positions (Leno can play inside as well). i guess we could use another guy but hopefully we don't see 4 injuries on the line to where we need to have 9 OLinemen
  18. I like it. I'm high on Ellington, so I wouldn't say RB is very weak. I'd no doubt do the Colston for Tate deal. Welker, if/when healthy, is a real good WR3 and you have Smith and Hopkins to fill in on bye weeks or is Welker gets hurt. Just drafted my keeper league.... QB-Brady WR- Cobb WR- Allen WR- Cruz RB- McCoy RB- Lamar Miller/Knowshon Moreno (I think whoever wins that job is gonna be a solid RB in that system) TE- J. Thomas Flex- Gore Bench- Miller/Moreno, Sproles, Terrance Williams, Cooper, Austin, Tim Wright(Love him this year as the 2nd TE for the Pats, thinkin Aaron Hernandez type #s).
  19. Bears have cut or waived OL Ebon Britton, WR Dale Moss, RB Jordan Lynch, TE Jeron Mastrud, OL Ryan Groy, S Marcus Trice, C Taylor Boggs, OL Dennis Roland, WR Armanti Edwards, OL Rob Turner, WR/KR Chris Williams, LB Dede Lattimore, DT Lee Pegues, CB Kelvin Hayden, WR Josh Bellamy. Britton, Boggs, Hayden, and Williams are the only real shockers.
  20. Meh, unless he takes around the minimum I'd pass. 3 deep at RB is nice but not a necessity. He's not been very good for the last few years, and he's not a a guy who's gonna catch balls out of the backfield.

    KR and PR

Holmes looked pretty good returning that punt. Looks like his speed is still there to an extent.
