lemonej
At this point I'm gassed anyone with a list of guys after the next 2 picks that might be good fits here as undrafted free agents? I like the thought of NIU's Jordan lynch as an athlete brought in here as well as the union leader Cain Colter in the same capacity.

Many guys on this list that were on mocks as high as 3rd RD picks.
dawhizz
Not a surprise, but Bears have added Jordan Lynch as an UDFA.

scs787
The MLB crowd will be happy, Christian Jones was signed. Crazy to think he's a UDFA.
dawhizz
I hear Christian Jones from Florida State too. Some of us wanted him in the last few rounds. Has a shot.
scs787
Add Ryan Groy, a guard outta Wisconsin to the list...NFL.com has him listed as a 3-4 round player.
dawhizz
Sounds like Trestman has a plan for Lynch. Be interested to see what that is. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0,2383425.story

Be interested to see what that is. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0,2383425.story Yes seems he's going to compete at RB, or FB, or some odd hybrid h-back type of a role? Trestman telling him he "has 10 things he can do with him" has me curious and the Bears put a lot of effort into the scouting (in this case recruiting) process. He's a good football player and if can cover kick returns on special teams, which he has the right attitude for, then he has a shot at making the roster. He only ran a 4.7 forty so it will be interesting to see what kind of role they envision for him.

Gives us another thing to prepare for when a guy can run and throw out of a nothing spot.
lemonej
I love having guys who fell as undrafted free agents and in Lyngh and Jones case they should have big chips on their shoulder. James Brown currently backing up at both OG positions followed the same path and is still around. Coming out he had 3rd RD grade.
