DABEARSDABOMB
I forgot to mention Joe DeCamillas in my previous post and I don't know how. He should have been fired at the end of last season along with Mel Tucker. I never understood why the Bears hired these two clowns anyways, as if they were any good with their previous teams before coming here.. He is absolutely awful. I could understand why Tucker wasn't (injuries were really bad and that was an awful dline), however, Joey D had zero excuses and is terrible. Special teams may not win you a lot of games (unless you were the Bears under Lovie) but it can cost you a lot (see Chargers a few years ago) and I just have very bad feelings about our unit. And it isn't because of the personnel.

If they aren't performing well by the third perseason game, he needs to be shitcanned. This team has too much potential to have ST lose us a game. One game can mean the difference between playoffs or not, home field or not, etc. The busts on Friday night were pretty big ones so Trestman needs to step in and show some leadership on this big part of team's production. It's a given that a special team's coach will be working with scrubs, so there's no valid argument for him to be as bad as he has. This is exactly what you hire a special teams coach to do -- Get the most out of your worst players, and Joe D was not very good at it in Dallas either. Most of their fans were glad he left. Yeah, Joe D is definitely on the chopping block. Tucker is #2 in the chute if the defense doesn't turn it around this year.
