DABEARSDABOMB
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2372428...bine-interviews One scout described how Winston was so impressive with his knowledge of X's and O's that "there was a moment where we kind of looked at each other and said, 'Oh, okay, wow.'" The comparison I heard several times was Peyton Manning.
scs787
Ya, his bit with Mariucci showed off how football smart the guy is. He's gonna be something special. Not a chance in hell it happens but if peoples dream of getting a 1st for Jay were to come to fruition I'd LOVE to trade our 2 first rounders+ for Winston....No chance Tampa gives up the first though. Alaskan Grizzly
'I know Peyton Manning, and he sir is no Peyton Manning." A couple things to consider before you fall too much in love. Manziel was doing the same last year (as the article pointed out) and if he was so sure in his observations, why didn't the person making the quotes about Winston get named? Or did he prefer to stay anonymous?

Manziel pretty much played in a "Jailbreak" offense where often times he just ad libed with his feet and somehow made it work....Jameis comes from a pro style offense. That right there is the biggest difference between the 2. He won't be Peyton Manning, but the comp I like to throw on him is Phillip Rivers. Esp. in terms of leadership, where both are very vocal and animated leaders. Also...Now that I read that article DB, it's Steve Mariucci, not Steve Young that talked about him....I was about to post the video of Mooch thinking it was something different. We know I've questioned Winston the man but I've long said if we had a shot at drafting him, I'd trade whatever it took to get him because he's pretty much as elite as a QB can be entering the draft. Why in the heck would a scout for an NFL team indicate what team he worked for (as that might give insights into that organizations views of a prospect).
