Alaskan Grizzly
So I saw some blurb on NFL Network link (I'm not at home to verify) that the Saints are 'shopping several players including Jimmy Graham". WOW! And as I'm looking at the feed something popped up about the Saints and Seahawks are working a deal as we speak for Graham. NO I DO NOT ENDORSE ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM GOING AFTER GRAHAM!!!! Are there any defensive players worth perusing? EDIT: Wow this moved quick. According to Rappaport the deal is near done. Graham and a 4th to Seattle for Unger (Max I presume?) and a 1st. scs787
Barring injuries, you could already give the Seahawks the title next year. As for trades with Nola....I'd be interested in Vacarro, Jordan, and Jenkins depending on the price if they put em out there.
DABEARSDABOMB
Ian Rapoport @RapSheet 58s58 seconds ago #Saints have a deal. adam
Insane deal, what are the Saints doing?
Alaskan Grizzly
Insane deal, what are the Saints doing? I don't know but if they're having a spring sale Ryan Pace is probably the best to know on their team who to try for.
Stinger226
Insane deal, what are the Saints doing? There starting over, there in cap hell and no way out, so sell off and start over. Brees is next, maybe he plays here for a couple of years, only if we can trade Cutler.
'TD'
There starting over, there in cap hell and no way out, so sell off and start over. Brees is next, maybe he plays here for a couple of years, only if we can trade Cutler. Cutler could just be cut if Brees is acquired in 2 days. The money for 2016 doesn't kick in til the 13th, and Cutler's offset clause would likely lower most of his cap hit.
AZ54
Have to think the Bears have already had discussions regarding any potential trade of Brees and Cutler. We went almost right up to the beginning of FA before finally stating that Cutler is our QB and even then it wasn't a big announcement it was just leaked out to the media. OTOH I haven't seen any links anywhere that Brees is officially on the block but the rumor is everywhere. We have too many needs to take on Brees' cap hit and I'm not sure he'd be as effective in Chicago weather…and yes I know where he played in college. NO is in cap hell with no easy way out. Colston is near the end of his career but this is a great WR draft and having two 1st Rd picks gives NO a way to quickly reshape their offense if they choose to do so. In 15 years when there is discussion about if he should be in the Hall of Fame, remember the answer to the trivia question "who was traded for Jimmy Graham".
