Based on the way you two reacted I thought there'd be something significant here. This is almost a nothing comment. Now, I'm SURE we'll hear Brandon go off in the future but this just didn't get me nearly as pissed as I thought it would. Just wait.

No the comment wasnt the worst in the world. It's just that he said it at all. Wasn't necessary. Shows a lack of professionalism.

LOL! Brandon said what? Oh wait, he was only saying more truth. Truth hurts and then BM throws salt on it.

I would have preferred he keep his trap shut but apparently he is incapable. Would be nice to have our crap defense meet his great offense sometime in the near future.

What he said was correct the last three years the defense was terrible. He could have worded his comment better. The Jets upgraded their D, they should have a pretty good d with the FA additions and Todd Bowles coaching.

Lets see how much he likes playing with Geno Smith....... Cant wait to hear what he says about that guy

He has every right to talk up his new team.

Some people have it out for him, personally I respect his talent, his work ethic, and how he handles himself given his personality disorder.

I'm a fan of Brandon Marshall the person.

Yeah I'm fine with the move too.

I think it was more about reeling Cutler in than anything else, but that's my personal theory.

I feel that if Cutler and Marshall had each been trade-able, that it might have been Cutler that was gone.

I think part of moving Bmarsh had to do with a belief that Jay will actually be a better QB without his safety net and won't fall back into some of his bad habits. That said, I don't know how much of that is the case and while Jay has his issues and isn't the leader you expect out of a QB, he also isn't a guy that you don't want to play for (which in Marshall's case, I can definitely see where a lot of guys don't enjoy playing with him).

I agree 100%, I dont think anyone thinks removing BM will fix Cutler, I doubt they think there is a good chance THEY can fix him either.

He's just gonna be our QB while we build this year, and if he surprises us, then great, and if not then we have a high draft pick to draft his replacement.

I think moving Marshall has to do with the owners not wanting him as part of the organization. It was stated before the Pace hire that BM was not going to be a Bear much longer by an inside source of Terry Boers on the score.

I think the Bears brass got tired of BM being the face of the franchise and they had no way to take the spotlight away from him.

The team also put out a policy in regards to "no tv shows" and Marshall was on tv asking Harbaugh if he would let him be on the show. Both sides clearly at posturing here. The team had a policy and Marshall didn't want to abide by it, so they moved him to where he could. Just imagine if he stayed and was not allowed to "promote his brand". He would've become even a bigger annoyance.
