lemonej Posted March 25, 2015 Report Share Posted March 25, 2015 George McCaskey met with the the media and explains why he signed off on the deal after first saying no and then McDonald on his own flew in to meet with him and convinced George of his sincerity and he says that there are only 3 players that he as chairman got involved in the personnel matter and that is B Marsh, Sam Hurd and Ray McDonald. He clearly said he didn't want to be involved in personnel matters unless charcter is involved and he sounded like he told McDonald that one false move and your gone but worded it as if you want to remain a Bear you need to do exyz or else.
