Ouch. I'm a big Gus Bradley fan, and it appeared their arrow was pointing up, this obviously hurts them.

Not Fowler related, but I like reading the comments on the bottom of this link..

Few guys on there aren't pleased that Ball is gone.

...what I said about it being good to sign all of your rookies before rookie mini-camp. Jaguars are obligated now to "negotiate in good faith". While I don't know which of their rookies are signed, don't think the rest of them aren't thinking about this.

According to Schefter, Fowler signed an injury protection waiver before the injury that "obligates Jaguars to negotiate in good faith." Fox Sports' Mike Garafolo reports that the DE is in line for a four-year, $23.5 million deal that's fully guaranteed.

ESPN is reporting that Dante Fowler Jr has suffered a knee injury at rookie mini camp. Exact details have not been disclosed.

I feel for the guy, that really sucks. About one of the worst ways you can start your NFL career. Crazy he didnt miss one game due to injury in college.

This! This here is the reason the contracts need to be signed if the player accepts being drafted. The pay scale is slotted and pre figured, so why not have a sheet a paper the player signs before he shakes Rogers hand. I am sure there is a little wiggle in the way the contracts are written, but they are basically the same dollar amount.
