All the new

We have added so many new faces this year, so who shines?

I am referring to standing out like a pro bowl participate type.

I am throwing out Goldman as a stud with pro bowl type of season.

It your turn?>

Man, where do I start? Gut instinct tells me both Rolle and Royal are going to have big years. And for some reason Langford keeps popping into my conscious. Rolle is Rolle, been a PBer and probably has at least one or two more years of that potential in him. I really think playing with Mundy again will make him solid (can't explain it outside of familiarity).

Yes I said Royal. Despite my disbelief in Cutler I think this might play right into his stronger suits (Cutlers). IMHO he's actually better at the short game when he doesn't have to think too much about the longer options downfield. Take Martellus' productive year as a prime example. Royal strikes me as a clutch receiver best suited for the SR especially with Cutler throwing to him. (I find it humorous that for the last few years Royal played with Cutler's nemesis in Rivers. If you recall 'back in the day' Cutler and Rivers were always good for a few 'words' exchanged during the game.)

I think Langford will do well because something tells me that the team will do a lot of running this year. To get the most (that they can) out of Cutler they're probably going to follow the model that Dallas went with last year. That means more running. The difference is in Chicago they don't have Murray (or do they?). As mentioned previous Langford is very similar to Forte in his running style and catch out of the backfield. Add in his youth and something tells me he's going to do big things for the team.

Outside of that (and staying within the 'new' parameter) I suspect Acho will pan out fine too.

Lastly, I think Jared Allen will have a big year.

Many newbies to choose from. I'm going with Kevin White. This is a good kid with a strong work ethic and he hasn't forgotten what got him to Chicago. Add in that we now have a solid and fast slot receiver in Royal to keep the underneath coverage busy as well. Jeffrey is out to earn a big new contract and we still have Martellus who is a solid 4th option, not to mention Forte. What all that means is that White doesn't have to be the man, nor will he be asked to fill that role.

Add in part 2 of this... for years defenses have relied on hanging back off our slower WRs. There wasn't much of a deep threat anywhere on our roster. Sure Marshall and Jeffrey made big catches downfield but they are almost always done with defenders hanging on them. With the combination of Royal and White there is no more catching up the WR if you make a false step. In short our offense just hasn't challenged defenses this way in a long time and I don't think Green Bay will be ready for it.

The combination of multiple threats now with speed and White being the 2nd or 3rd option means he'll get some solid 1on1 chances and he'll make good on them.

Agree 100% I'm very excited for the speed element our offense has added. Faster slot receiver, faster outside receiver and faster running backs. I love it and can't wait to see how it goes. I'm still very concerned about the defense. One thing I think it will have going for it, is a dedicated ball control offense that seeks to win the TOP battle.
