Mongo3451
I understand. But he didn't have a negative impact while on the field. What you do off the field directly relates to on field. So yes, he was a detriment to the entire team.
Chitownhustla
This some degree I would agree to this. In order to have someone(s) like that on the team you have to have someone that can manage them. Trestman could not. And not necessarily because of what Marshall was behind the scenes others followed suit. Briggs was another example. I have no doubt that Fox can manage people like that. I have no doubt that Bennett could potentially be an issue but so far he isn't. Something tells me Fox weighed in to some degree on whether Marshall stayed or not. He probably agreed he had to go. He was a distraction. And as others pointed out, if Forte felt it necessary to speak up he was more than just a distraction. Is this the first thing we have ever agreed on??!!!! lol
madlithuanian
Bingo! I think Virgie and George had enough... Great points. Trestman was NOT a NFL HC and could not manage BM. I bet you are right Fox prolly could have. Makes me wonder if the BM trade was forced by upper management.

BearFan2000
Kelvin Benjamin tears ACL out for season, Rivera is such a bad coach. Jk Injuries are mounting around the league. Add Jordy Nelson to that list. Been trying to prepare for fantasy drafts and guys are dropping like flies across the league. Somehow it seems like there has been a rash of injuries that seems worse than previous years maybe not but sure has been a lot.
Alaskan Grizzly
Call me superstitious but when I saw that KW couldn't wear his college number '11' (because Bellamy had it) then chose 13 I hoped some sort of Madden like curse wouldn't befall him. The first name that popped in my head when I saw that was Johnny Knox who also had issues wearing that number. Not for nothing but I hope Kevin will choose a new number. Alaskan Grizzly
Damn, I thought I was the only one, I didn't want to say anything, but why that number? I wasn't going to either until I started thinking about it and considering he has a relative injury free career until now I couldn't help but think it. Besides being a retired Navy sailor we're told we're naturally superstitious so it seemed necessary to point out. Might I suggest #15? It's available. I have 23 and counting in the Army, so I know what you mean. Shane Carden has #15. There are actually 9 players wearing the same number (1 on O and 1 on D). So after cuts I would take the first number available under 20 or in the 80's.
