adam
7 point favorites, at home, coming off a huge emotional win. We need a win to keep our slim playoff hopes alive and get back to .500. I am going to go out on a limb and say: Bears 24 - 49ers
madlithuanian
We need to not look past these guys or rest on what happened last week. We need to continue what we've been doing. Play smart, hard, and make a big play when it matters. I think the coaching staff will instill just that and more! Go Bears! 7 point favorites, at home, coming off a huge emotional win. Hoping the big win in GB does just that. Maybe the Bears will come out with a little swagger.

Bears4Ever_34
Another special teams freak up. Should have been an easy TD if that idiot didn't blatantly hold..
adam
Pretty hard for the defense to start any better. 2 SF drives, 0 first downs, -5 yards.
Bears4Ever_34
Bad start by the offense. Squandered great field position on both of their drives. Should be getting 7 instead of 3.
Bears4Ever_34
THAT is exactly why you have to get 7... Stupid throw by Cutler. 49'ers lead.
jason
THAT is exactly why you have to get 7... Stupid throw by Cutler. 49'ers lead. How was that a stupid throw? It's the definition of safe throw. Bellamy missed his responsibility. He was slow out off the line, and slow with his cut. The Niner player had a great break on the pass, but Bellamy absolutely has to get a body on that guy.

Too close to the LOS to fling it out there without thinking. It was a bad read.
Bears4Ever_34
That's not something you see a lot from Forte. Running with power.
jason
Ward was hounding him the entire time. It was a bad read. There's virtually no read on that play. It's drop back, throw. As a QB it's the first read, an immediate read, and an immediate throw. The WR screen doesn't work unless it's immediate. Ward made a great play, but Bellamy blew that play. adam
On the INT, the WR's can't let a DB get to that spot when you know the play, that was ridiculous. Someone missed the call.
adam
That's not something you see a lot from Forte. Running with power. Yeah, that is great to see. That is now a couple of runs with him breaking tackles and getting yards after contact.

Yes, and Ward was too close to the LOS for Cutler to automatically assume he can make that throw.
Bears4Ever_34
Yuck... That was awful defense.
adam
Yuck... That was awful defense. This defense is so random. We shut them down for negative yards on multiple drives, then allow a long TD drive with a bunch of first downs.
Bears4Ever_34
Holy crap. Disaster avoided. Wtf was that?
adam
What the hell, why were any Bears within 10 yards of that ball?
Bears4Ever_34
That had to have been the Eric Weems play, right? Once a 49'er touches it, the Bears can't lose the ball? or something..?

Yeah, was never going to be 49ers ball. Weird part is you get the ball where it was touched, but Patton touched it in the end zone, so it would've been a touchback anyway? adam
Now if this gets ruled an incompletion, I am going to be pissed, he took 4 steps and then a knee down.
adam
f#*k these refs, seriously. He wasn't going to the ground until he was getting tackled. Then everyone who is tackled within 3 steps is going to the ground? The most ridiculous rule ever.
ParkerBear7
Then there is also ground can't cause fumble. Horrible reversal there by the referee.
