RB 40 times

Featured Replies

Kenyan Drake - 4.45, 4.44. He looked smooth. Good scat-back

Ezekiel Elliot - 4.46 on his first try. Pretty good for his size. His calves are monstrous.

Tyler Ervin - 4.40 on 1st effort. He looked pretty effortless too. Real light on his feet.

Derrick Henry - 4.54, 4.52 at 247lbs. He had a real shaky start on the first run, but looked scary at the end of each. He had a big vertical and broad jump as well.

Glenn Gronkowski - (listed as a RB ?) - 4.70, 4.74 at 239lbs, looked slow. He was very disappointed and looked like he wanted to cry.

Andy Janovich - Who? 4.79, 4.84. Pure lead-blocker.

Daniel Lasco - 4.44. He's destroying the combine. Also had a vertical of 41.5" and a broad jump of 11'3" (2nd best in the last 10yrs).

Keight Marshall - 4.29 & 4.31! HOLY SHIT. He looked like a motor. Pistons firing. Wow. And it didn't look like he had a great start on the second run.

CJ Prosise - 4.46 twice, but ran very upright. Almost had a Dickerson look to him. I doubt he has Dickerson's moves to avoid getting blasted.

Wendell Smallwood - 4.46, 4.45, but he didn't look great.

Shadrich Thornton - 4.75, 4.73...he did not fall down, just slow.Kelvin Taylor - 4.58 (Fred Taylor's son) front heavy and didn't look coordinated. He almost did fall forward.

Dan Vitale - 4.62, 4.58. Very long strides and arm drive. Almost awkward. Big arms, looked like he had a little belly fat on him hough.

DeAndre Washington - 4.49, 4.47. No major observations.

Based on purely the above, I'd guess Lasco and Marshall will improve their draft stock.

Add in the bench press results and it muddies the water a bit. Vitale and Janovich got the weight up 30 times. Soma Vainuku, another FB, did 26. Keith Marshall, however, got 26. Combine that with his speed and you can expect to see his name pop up on some sleeper lists. Same goes for Daniel Lasco who got an above-average 23.

Keep in mind Marshall was buried behind Gurley and Chubb, and he's got great potential.

Not all that interested in a RB before maybe the 5th at the earliest if at all.

I like the idea of a Super back errrr I mean H Back like Vitale though.

Vitale, up against RBs, had the 2nd best verticle and the 3rd best broad jump. Combined with the 30 reps and a respectable 40, I think he could end up going as early as the 4th round.

Patriots are said to be interested, and he would be be perfect in that Aaron Hernandez role.

I still like Tyler Ervin as PR/KR and 3rd down RB, slot WR.
