ASHKUM BEAR
Less than a month away for Christmas amongst die hard NFL fans. Here is my April fools make a wish draft 1-11 trade to NY Jets for Muhammad Wilkerson and pick 1-20. The contract will not be easy to build with the Jets cannot keep him. 1-20 William Jackson III CB -Fox wanted to add speed, Jackson has length, speed, and is a top 2-3 CB 2-41 Jaylon Smith LB- I am predicting a good re-check and news he should make a full recovery. 3-71 Sean Davis S - Davis is under the radar, but look at his measurables and game tape. He will be good. 4-106 Pharoh Cooper WR- Eddie Royal was expected to be a clutch slot, he barely seen the field. PC adds insurance & KR 4-127 Tyler Higbee TE- WR convert w good long hands. Not really an inline blocker but tries. Might be best in class for TE 5-150 Tyler Johnstone OT- would be 2nd rd pick, but injuries hurt. Good LT prospect and Bears can build him up. 6-185 Aaron Wallace OLB UCLA-saw limited play until sr yr, but has every tool to be good edge rusher in NFL. Bloodlines, twitch, just needs experience to get things to click faster for him. He is my projected steal for our future edge 6-206 Josh Ferguson RB- compared to Ronnie Hillman. Scatback that can take it to house w good vision too. 7-230 Darious Latham DT-ideal size and strength, will need condtioning and work but can become NFL starter Hit starters with Wilkerson, Jackson, Davis. Guys that can contibute some right away Cooper, Higbee, and Ferguson. Smith, Johnstone, Wallace, and Latham will need to heal or be groomed. Overall, this draft added speed with Jackson, Smith, Davis, Copper, Ferguson, Wallace are all fast for their positions.
scs787
I was actually in the process of posting a mock with a Wilkerson trade but my tablet goofed up and erased it all. I think along with a the trade down, you're also gonna have to give up a 4th to get Wilkerson. Overall I like what you did here, though the Bears are absolutely in need of a backup QB. I'm also torn on what to do with Leno. I think he can improve, and earlier in the off-season I was fine with just waiting and grabbing a mid rounder to compete with him, but with all they've done I think they should look to grab an OT in the 1st 2 rounds. Right now, in this situation, I would go... 1-20- William Jackson CB 2. Jason Spriggs OT 3. Dak Prescott QB- With the addition of Wilkerson, cap wise we may wanna move on from Cutler next year + we need a backup anyway 4. James Bradberry S/CB 5. Nick Vannett TE 6.6.6.7 TBE (To be edited)

That would be an awesome draft but agree with SCS, we draft a QB prospect, maybe instead of Johnstone
jason
That would be an awesome draft but agree with SCS, we draft a QB prospect, maybe instead of Johnstone It's easily arguable we need a backup LT, potential starting LT, more than we need a backup QB. Cutler at QB > Leno at LT

Cutler at QB > Leno at LT Exactly, that is why I think Johnstone would make sense. He has LT potential but will slip bc of the knee. Leno can have first shot and Johnstone can take a slow approach while building back leg. I have confidence in Leno, but TJ can eventually take the spot. Does anyone really think they would stick a 3rd rd rookie in the game over Fales if Jay gets hurt? Don't discount Fales, some good NFL coaches wanted him. WR is pretty strong and Cooper would not see action over Royal right away. i can go with that.

ASHKUM BEAR
They waived Fales last year, so I can't imagine they are that high on him. They waived him at a time he was most protected. It was a risk waiving him, but they felt he would clear and did. Once he was secured on the ps, they made sure he wasn't leaving. If they were not confident, they would have made a move already. Not saying they won't take a project, but Fales is going into camp as #2 and a rookie will have perform well enough for them to carry 3 QBs. Cutler at QB > Leno at LT I would be all in on Stanley in the first, but at some point there are going to draft a QB that they think can become a starter. If Cutler goes down, season would be down the tubes. If Leno goes down, we have a body to stick in right now.

I am not devaluing the OLine, I think it is important, but somewhere we will draft a QB prospect and I think it will be this year. I would be all in on a first or second round LT such as Stanley, Decker, Spriggs, or or Conklin, also like Ifedi. After those choices you are just drafting a prospect not one that will start this year. I also think if we get valve we may draft a mid round OG for depth even thou we have some stop gap players there for the moment.
