jason
No coverage skills....we are seeing with players like him, Scooby, and Cash still available those types of players are being phased out. You may be right in terms of trends, but Scooby is highly underrated. That guy was the best defensive player in ALL of college in 2014. scs787
Giants just getting us back for the Floyd pick obviously...jk. Ha, I had the exact same thought. No clue where they go now. Vitale would be lovely.
jason
6th round: DHC from W&M. Based on the talk of versatility, this one isn't a huge shock. Converted CB as a S.
adam
Houston-Carson, more competition in the secondary, I like it. So add: Deon Bush, S DeAndre Houston-Carson, S Deiondre Hall, CB/S to: Adrian Amos, FS Antrel Rolle, SS Kyle Fuller, CB Tracy Porter, CB Omar Bolden, SS Chris Prosinski, SS Jones-Quartey, FS Bryce Callahan, CB Sherrick McManis, CB Demontre Hurst, CB

bradjock
Nawrocki has him as the #75 player overall. He's good with special teams. CrackerDog
I don't know enough about the players in the draft beyond the few teams I follow so you won't see me pretending to contribute on draft weekend. But I just want to thank you guys for making it more fun. There's a lot of knowledge and passion here and I appreciate it. Go Bears!!! 50england50
How about Shawn Oakman in the 7th if he's available good size, speed and strength with a nasty disposition. Also liked the Vikings picking the German kid on NFL Network nice touch by the Vikings but seems the kid deserved being picked.

That's a minimal risk and high reward pick. Better than a guy with 7th round skill who won't make the squad anyway.

50england50
I didn't notice that Oakman was arrested 2 weeks before the draft whether he is innocent or not can't see the Bears taking a player with this type of incident hanging over him together with other previous incidents while in college. DHC will have a better chance at starting than Bush, Matt Miller from Bleacher report likes him alot and he has put ton of tape time, and I have not. So I will go with his opinion. scs787
Ever since I saw just how tiny Oakmans legs are, I had zero interest in him even before the arrest. Most over hyped player in the draft.

David Morgan and Brandon Allen gone, so I suspect with take the best prospect that is left on board. potential picks Karin Reed/CB from Southern Miss Darius Latham/DL Indiana Nick VanHooten/CB NW Brandon Doughety/QB WK Harlan Miller/CB Mo Canaday/CB Victor Ochi/Edge Beau Sandland/TE Roy Robinson/DE Some of these may have been picked or gets picked, Im not taking the time to check. scs787
I'm guessing it's gonna be Sandland or Robinson Maybe Thomas Duarte if they wanna go with a non blocking TE
AZ54
Very happy with this draft. Kwiatkowski will become a fan favorite and I think the Bears have a him lose a bit of weight so he can play with speed at ILB. These Safeties are all players I like, especially as late as we we were able to draft them. Bush has explosive burst and likes to hit, I've missed that among our safeties for a long time. DHC looks like a student of the game type as he often diagnoses plays. Regardless, we have a lot of competition and I think Antrel Rolle will be headed out of town once the coaches see what they have on the field. CB Hall...called for him in the Dry Heat Mock. He has outstanding read and react to the ball, and hustle, even when it is away from him. Plus he has the size to match up well against bigger WRs. RB Howard... I'm not as big a fan as some are because he's not that quick laterally but he will bring a power element to our running game that is a good mix with Langford. Putting him behind this strong interior Oline we just built and he's going to wear down defenses.
dawhizz
7th round. Wonder if Bears might try to move Slauson/Houston/Young for a pick.
ASHKUM BEAR
Jalen Mills S Josh Ferguson RB Scooby Wright LB Landon Turner G Jeremy Cash S Charone Peake WR I say pick Scooby, the guy is a player
AZ54
QBs remaining: Brandon Doughty and Jake Coker but I'd prefer to just go with Hoyer as our backup this season. TE: Still have Beau Sandland and Ben Braunecker. Devon Cajuste is still on the board and I like him as a guy to convert to TE.
dawhizz
Honestly with Pace saying you can never have too many pass rushers, wouldn't be shocked at a guy like Ochi or Striker.
Bears4Ever_34
Wasn't Oakman arrested for domestic abuse? No way the Bears take any chances with a guy like that, especially after the Ray McDonald fiasco.
ASHKUM BEAR
Tyler Johnstone is a longshot for LT depth, would be fine going there knowing he may need to redshirt a year.
