The team wanted him to get bigger. Im curious what he tops out at 310? I dont remember exactly but I thought he was 300 at the combine and then played last year at 295? Anybody remember? AZ54 Posted May 15, 2016 Report Share Posted May 15, 2016 IIRC coaches said they wanted him to be stronger not necessarily bigger (heavier). There's good weight that adds strength and then there's the Vince Wilforkesque immovable weight. The Bears clearly valued Grasu's ability to block on the move when they drafted him so that likely means they don't want him to lose that mobility.
