It's only week 2, but it's already starting to feel like the season is slipping away from them fast. This was supposed to be the 2nd easiest schedule in the NFL, and yet the Bears are 0-2. Maybe there's some team out there who'd be willing to trade? Cleveland is needing some QB help. My thought is this. Let Hoyer play out the rest of the season. It's been proven on so many occasions that you need continuity to even have a chance of any success at all. Weather we like it or not on this current roster Jay really is our best option. There's a reason hoyer has bounced around and after seeing the pre season games I saw him make mistakes just like Jay. Sure his mechanics aren't as bad but his judgement in my opinion is worse and he doesn't have that arm that Jay which helps Jay get lucky at times and get away with mistakes. I saw hoyer on 1 play where he had plenty of time In the pocket stare down his receiver then proceeded to a throw to a spot where only a defender was. Defender didn't even have to move. The Bears had a severe deficiency at OT and they never addressed it in the draft. These tackles have been getting beaten a lot, and it's disrupting the entire offense. They certainly have addressed it, but you can't deny it's been bad any through 2 games.....I do think the line will start to mesh a lot more down the road.....Well the interior anyway. The tackles are gonna be a different story though. Anyway, I love how there are like 24 posts in this thread and only 2 of them are talking about him having a broken thumb. Smh. I'm 100% cool with making a change at Qb next year, but simply for cap purposes.....and because I kinda wanna watch one of them fancy running QBs.
