Connorbear
Oh no, don't get me wrong, he has potential. He showed some flashes last year too. If he can hold onto the ball, he can be a legit #2. Agreed - They just need to continue to work with him. He didn't play WR until his junior year of college. adam
Agreed - They just need to continue to work with him. He didn't play WR until his junior year of college. Peace Yeah, they mentioned he was a QB, which is interesting because I would think that would help knowing what the QB is thinking. Another thing I thought about is Hoyer got a lot more reps with Meredith on the 2nd team than Cutler did, so I assume that is why he is more comfortable with him than Jeffery at this point. If Royal and Jeffery can stay healthy, we have a pretty solid offense with Hoyer, Howard, and Miller if Meredith can keep this going. We just need a lot of help on defense. bowlingtwig
He's a rookie. They can work with him on it. He looks a hell of a lot better than Marquis Wilson ever did. Peace Saying he's better than Wilson ain't saying much my friend lol. I do agree with your point. He's showing tremendous talent and obviously him and hoyer have a bond they can work with. Let's hope the coaching staff can help Meredith and he also takes to the coaching.
jason
Honestly? I'm pretty happy about this game. When the Bears show so much promise, have so many highlights, and still lose, it's the best of both worlds for us. We know they're really not that good, and there is a serious lack of talent on the team. This team is nowhere near playoff quality. Winning 6-7 games does a disservice to the team's future and development. Showing a lot of hope and promise while losing is the best possible result, even if it's tough for us to watch losses. madlithuanian
I tend to agree... Liked a lot of what I saw. The bad, looks fixable...especially since much has to do with a boat ton of starters being out... Honestly? I'm pretty happy about this game.
