AZ54
Very surprised there is not a thread on Leonard Floyd's performance last night. I was at work so I have yet to watch the game but I've seen highlights of his play. Both sacks, and even his "hurry" on Rodgers in the 1st quarter were excellent plays. Most impressive was seeing him cross the face of the OT and then fight through the double team right up the middle to take Rodgers down. It was hard to see where I was since almost every tv had the Cubs game on. Glad he is coming around and hopefully he can build off of that. Some are already asking the team to stop trying at he expense of getting a better draft pick. Others have decided to give up entirely on the season and have chosen to move on. Hence why you may not be seeing much in the way of positive news traffic. Yes you are right. The performance from Floyd was a thing of beauty. (At least the first half and 30 seconds). This image is something I hope we get to see a lot more in the future.

Bears4Ever_34
It was great to see him finally making some important plays. He did kinda sorta fall into both of those sacks, though. Both were coverage sacks where he basically just ran around for a couple of seconds until Rodgers had nowhere to run anymore. Still have to give the young kid credit for being relentless. Let's just hope this isn't his version of the Shea McClellin game. This should be good for his confidence. He needs to stay healthy.

HIs first sack is the second play Thayer highlights in this clip. Yes, we covered the receivers for about 2 seconds because that's about how long it took for Floyd to get Rodgers to drop his eyes toward him. That's a pretty good rush on a 1st and 10 and I wouldn't put that into the coverage sack category. http://www.chicagobears.com/multimedia/vid...16-3860ce06dc9f
