With the 3rd pick in the 2017 NFL draft ...

Since we tied with JAX at 3-13, we will rotate with them between picking 3rd and 4th per round, so our first 3 picks should be #3, #36, and #67. If SF somehow won against SEA, we would lose the SOS tie breaker with them, but would pick 2nd in the 2nd at #34 and get #68 in the 3rd with the 3 team rotation of CHI/JAX/SF.

Looks like we are 3, 36, 67 with San Fransisco's loss.

Garret, and Allen are the two best players in the draft, if either come to 3 its a no brainier.

Here is GBNs big board

I would probably take Humphrey next on the list. Now if they think one of those 3 QBs are worthy, just take him but by all reports there more late round valve or early second.

Otherwise, I would prefer to trade back but not out of the top 10, where I would grab Jamal Adams or Cam Robinson.

Also, I would consider talking for Jimmy G/QB but not really with the first round pick unless we trade back a bit.

If Garrett isn't there, I like either of the two safties, giving a slight edge to Peppers because of special teams. Then draft your future QB in the 2nd round.

Peppers is supposed to be a stud but production didnt show that, more of a SS. I think FS would be a better game changer position

I like your idea but the 1 question I have is who do you see as a future franchise QB for us in the 2nd rd considering more than likely all of Watson, Kizer and Trubisky will be gone. I'm asking because outside of those 3 I don't know many others. Unfortunately spending the last 7 years as an over the road truck driver I haven't watched much college outside of ND.
