Stinger226
Last year is a blue print of what Pace does in FAgency. His first year he hadnt evaluationed the team yet and still had the previous regimes scouts in place. Last year he was in full control. Trevathan 4 years 24.5 Freeman 3 year 12 Hicks 2 year 10 Sitton 3 year 21 Massie 3 year 18 Freeman and Sitton are 30 years old but were upscale players, the rest are young and ascending. So I think this is what he will continue to do. Probably will get two higher end players. People in this category are : 8- 12 mil. Jefferson/SS Bouye/CB Gilmore/CB Trumine Johnson/CB Campbell/DE Okrung/OT I also think we grab several middle tier types: 7 to 10 Duron Harper/FS Logan Ryan/CB Jabbal Shear/ EDGE Stills/WR DJ Swearinger/S Reiff/OT Johnathan Hawkings/DT Cyphein/SS Beachum/OT Doyle/TE So I predict we grab Gilmore/CB Beachum/OT Doyle/TE Harper/FS Hawkings/DT Stills/WR

Gilmore/CB $$$ Campbell/DE $$$ Reiff/OT $$ Doyle/TE $$ Stills/WR $$ (or DeSean Jackson) I hope they may add one or two more just below that cost as well, guys with question marks and upside. Given our likely QB situation we would be better off signing a WR who can best work the short/intermediate areas as opposed to deep threats. Jackson will run out of Hoyer's range in 1.5 seconds, and he'll grow tired of all the WR screens (and big hits) he'll have get.

Hoyer gets the snap, heaves deep immediately, just with the hopes of getting Jackson in stride. In all seriousness, I don't think he has that weak of an arm. It's just that the defenses were daring him to take shots, and he didn't do it. He did what many have wanted Cutler to do for all these years: take the open receiver he's being given. It's not flashy, but it sure as hell put up yards and moved the offense. Get a guy like DeSean Jackson on the field, and the defense is suddenly worried about his deep speed, opening up plenty of room for Hoyer to do what he does well. Then when the D steps up, heave ho.
