jason
Hear me out... The Browns are the Browns. They could easily pass on Myles Garrett. There is also every indication they love Mitch Trubisky. I don't think it's likely, but they could very well pass on Garrett. There is at least some speculation out there about whether or not Garrett takes plays off, or if he's lazy. So we get to the Niners. They're QBs are Matt Barkley and Brian Hoyer. Remember them? Do you think those two are the future? I don't even think they believe they are locked in as starter and backup, whichever order is inconsequential. So naturally the Niners are planning on QB early. They HAVE to be. Am I talking myself into this? I don't think it's likely, but it sure seems more likely than it did months/weeks ago. That's the dream scenario to the start of this draft. madlithuanian
It's certainly not out of the realm of possibility. I'd love it. I think it brings a buy we could potentially hang out hat on. Someone that could fill the loss of Urlacher. A true defensive talent that could wind up an all time Bear great. With that...I'd love it. Hear me out... The Browns are the Browns. SF could pass on a few guys too, sounds like they really want Leonard Fournette. Thursday should be fun at least.

Also if one of them take quarterback Solomon Thomas is in the mix as well.
BearFan2000
Also if one of them take quarterback Solomon Thomas is in the mix as well. That's my thinking as well. Browns and/or Niners could be wild cards. If either of them flinches and pulls the trigger on a QB or say Browns take QB, and Niners take Fournette we are in a golden position to have our pick of the defensive studs at the top. If they both wiff and we can take Garret it's a no brainer. But even if one of the two does our pick becomes instantly more valuable. It is exciting, and while these are rumors and the smoke is thick with the draft starting in mere days this would be a dream scenario. I'd be happy with Garret, Thomas, Adams, etc. at 3. It would certainly change the landscape of the top end f the draft a bit. No doubt Pace's phone would be ringing off the hook with teams wanting to jump up for Garret.
