Mongo3451
There are still teams desperate for a QB. Can we get some picks for him?

AZ54
No, we need him to win some games (hopefully) this season.
jason
No, we need him to win some games (hopefully) this season. I'd rather the Bears didn't win games this season. I wasn't that way before the trade, but the Bears obviously need one more down season in order to get position. After giving up the picks they did, and taking a rookie QB, there is zero doubt that Trubisky is starting next year (if not sooner), and the Bears need a lot of players in order to really threaten. bowlingtwig
Absolutely not. Pace is doubling down and hoping 1 of 2 becomes that guy. We have been screaming for a very very very long time about the need to get a franchise QB. Pace has now doubled down on fixing the QB position. Pace is essentially putting his career as a gm on this move. I might not agree with what it took to get him but if pace ends up fixing it I honestly don't care what it takes. ChileBear
Agreed 100% Peace Yes. If you asked anyone on this board, or on this planet for that matter, they'd say the Bears are QB challenged. Take a freaking risk an move on, or just be the Puckers whipping boys.

Im not sure he's betting his career that Trubisky will work out, but maybe just that he is taking the right risks. It all depends on his communication with ownership, but yes over time, you gotta win more than you lose for sure. This is an important pick for sure.
