We have the 10th & 13th pick in round 4

No one who will help much this year, sadly. Maybe Tedric Thompson at safety and a potential outside receiver?

Wish we were able to get a 3rd out of the deal. The Bears can regroup tonight and get two BPA's. To be honest I never seen S or CB as huge needs with the amount of personal they have there. Sure an upgrade would be good but then you are giving up on some talent that should grow.

OT I like: Avery Gennesy potential at LT and good for a zone blocking scheme. If Grasu comes back heathly and hungry then maybe shift Whitehair to a OT also.

OT-Roderick Johnson- might make a decent RT, but has experience at LT for FSU

We have a bunch of decent not great guys in the secondary, but this was a draft deep at DB where you could get an above average starter at S or CB in the 2nd. Now we didn't and I don't see the point of addressing it. Is a rookie CB we get in the 4-6 rounds going to be better than BW Webb/Callahan/LeBlanc? Is a safety we get in the 4-6 rounds going to be better than Amos/Bush/Hall/Houston-Carson? I don't see it. Depth isn't he problem. Quality starting caliber players are, IMO.

I think with the four remaining picks, you look for positions without that depth. I'm thinking that means, in no particular order swing tackle with starter upside, WR who can play outside, pass-rush specialist, and maybe a versatile DL.

Bold wildcard Ryan Pace prediction - The Bears use one of their 4th round picks on Zane Gonzalez, the kicker from Arizona State. Conner Barth was not particularly impressive last year and he's clearly the best K in the draft.

I love the idea of drafting Gonzalez and have no issues using a 4th rounder to do it.

Peace :dabears

I would love someone like Antonio Garcia from Troy (OT), or one of the top WR's remaining. If Gonzalez is still on the board with our 2nd 4th rounder, go for it, draft Gonzalez and fill a need. He would easily be an upgrade over Barth.

Roderick Johnson also still available, right?

Yep! Let's go Pace. If this is what you want, and doubling down on the QB is your move, then doubling down on OT should make the same amount of sense. Hell, OT with BOTH of the fourth rounders would be great!

2 out of Sharpe, Davenport, and Johnson!

I'd be ok to trade one 4th if we can get a 4th and 5th out of it. Still a decent list to pick from

1-Desmond King CB/S

2-Eddie Jackson S

3- Isaiah Ford WR

4- Jaleel Johnson DT

5- Roderick Johnson OT

6- David Sharpe OT

7- Avery Gennesy OT

8 - Julien Davenport OT

9- Brian Hill RB

10-Tedrick Thompson S

11- Howard Wilson CB

12-Mack Collins WR

13-Zane Gonzalez K

Why not: 4-Desmond King DB, 4-Roderick Johnson OT, 5-Zane Gonzalez K, 6-Mack Collins WR

I'm all over Desmond King. I can't see him falling to us, but if he does...awesome!!!

He's going to take BPA, king is in that position. Look who we coached at senior bowl and you may find some clues. Do not be surprised if out next two picks are King and Jerome/s. He is a little small but a playmaker.

Desmond King and Roderick Johnson would be lovely.

Deatrich Wise is a guy guy who intrigues me a lot as well.

I don't think we need a WR but if I'm wrong, I'd grab Trubiskys teammate...No not Ryan Switzer, but Mack Collins. 6'4" with good speed.

Let's get Switzer too! Everything it takes to make Trubisky feel comfortable.

We got Eddie Jackson, but gave up our 6th to get him. Now we only have two left.
