I'm 46 , so I grew up with Soundgarden from 1989 until today. They were my favorite band.

 

It's a sad day for rock.

I listened to many a Soundgarden song after watching Bears games...either to feel the joy or the anguish.

Yes, I seen him live a couple times, Soundgarden was in my wheel house of music. The only good thing you can say about musicians dying is the music lasts forever.

So true...

 

This is the setlist form the very first time I saw them in a tiny club in LA in 1990. They opened for Voivod, and Prong opened for them. They even covered Spinal Tap!
