bowlingtwig
It's been announced that we will play the Ravens in the hall of fame game this yr. I think I saw it's slated for Aug 3. I like having that 5th preseason game with the new coaching staff and gives trubisky even more game reps
DABEARSDABOMB
It probably doesn't mean Biscuit gets more reps from a game time perspective, but the nice thing is we get additional practice time, which is huge (as long as our medical staff can help keep guys healthy). With a new staff and new system this is big.
'TD'
I don't like it for the extra risk of injuries, but there should be a lot of new talent that could use a chance to gel.

I know that starters may only play 1 series but he needs ask the extra reps he can get especially considering he's going to have a brand new set of receivers to throw to or at least he should
Pixote
Since Nagy had been with Andy Reid for so long, does anyone know what Reid's system was for preseason games? Did he keep his starters sidelined as much as possible to try to limit injuries? Was Reid an all-out tough training camp guy or did he back-off and try to stay healthy? If we could look into how Reid handled training camp and preseason games it might give us an idea of what to expect, as I assume Nagy would have a tendency to do the same. Alex Smith played one drive in Week 1 of preseason, 2 drives in Week 2, and the first half in Week 3, and DNP in Week 4. Seems like that would be the "normal" amount of reps for a veteran QB and nothing out of the ordinary.

Wonder how much that will change though considering trubisky is far from a seasoned vet like Smith
BearFan2000
Wonder how much that will change though considering trubisky is far from a seasoned vet like Smith And Nagy and his staff will no doubt have their own plan for how they want to handle Trubisky's preseason reps. I'm sure there will be some caution as he is the starter.
jason
I think they should be unorthodox with Trubisky. He needs reps, experience, and much more time to gel with his new WRs (whoever they may be). G1: 2-3 series G2: 1st half G3: 1st half G4: DNP
