Free Agent Wide Receivers

IMO, a free agent WR is out #1 priority. I think this because a). I don’t think we can draft a WR #1 after missing on Kevin White. B). We want to help Mitch NOW, and rookie WR’s take time. C). We failed miserably at acquiring mid-level WRs. D). Last year we had what was arguably the worst WR group in the league.

The good thing is we have $$$ and there are good WR available. Who do you want? All these guys have issues and concerns and this will cost.

1. Allen Robinson

2. Jarvis Landry

3. Sammy Watkins

4. Marquise Lee

5. Paul Richardson

On a final thought, for those of you who like Albert Wilson, at best, he’s a 5’8” #4 WR.

First, I do like Albert Wilson but I think at his best he can be a legit #3 option. We need a #3 option on our roster anyway so why not bring in a guy who will have a good idea of the offensive concept Nagy runs, and one who Nagy knows how to scheme for? Even if he's our #4 WR we need one of those too.

I'm all-in for Allen Robinson. Why not go after a shot at having a legit #1 WR on the roster? The others are all #2/3/4 types, each with their own question marks, and Cam Meredith should be able to fill the role of a #2. Bring in a good rookie option as backup for the #2 role.

Keep Kevin White around, re-sign Inman to compete for a roster spot with him.

I am one of the few in the Allen Robinson wagon. The knee is going to be a risk, but if he passes the medicals then I think he can give us the #1 skill we need to back off the S. Heck, Meredith and White haven't proved much, but we are willing to see them back.

I disagree with you being one of the few on th Allen Robinson wagon. I’m in.

Don’t forget he bitched about Blake Bortles.

Count me in on Robinson too. I spoke on this in another thread but this guy has got what’s needed to be #1 especially on a team like the Bears. The knee is troublesome but he’s young enough and unless he’s got some history with that, give him what he needs.

I’d even say swing for two high profile FA WRs and take a look at Sammy Watkins too.

Goff ironically benefited from the Rams getting Watkins and Woods last year and a few here agreed following that model for Trubisky would be a great idea.
