In the second round , we should take the BPA among the pass rushers or OL. Landry-Danvenport-Carter-Sweat or Turay

For OL, we still have Price-Daniels-Hernandez-Wynn-Colbert-Ragnow.

I think if we can trade back and still grab Ragnow/OC then grab Sweat or Turay with the 3rd pick we get. we did good.

that would be great.

He reminds me of someone.  Tackling machine, always around the ball, quick and intelligent.  Soon to be leader on the field.  May defend the pass better then the run, but thats the NFL now. Looking forward to seeing him play

I read some quotes from him and man, loved what I heard. I wanted to trade Dow but I can’t argue the pick at all. Hope he is a total beast!

I think we are in line to get a good OLB. Sam Hubbard is my sleeper because he would compliment Floyd the best. Landry or Carter would be outstanding as well. Pace said they like to move around in the 2nd, so don't sit tight waiting for our pick and expect a move up with one of our 4ths if he wants a Landry or Hubbard. If he sits tight, he should get one of those 3.  2nd Rd could complete the D.

I REALLY, REALLY want Lorenzo Carter in the 2nd round now. The familiarity would make them immediately amplified.

I like Carter and adding him would give us some incredibly athletic LBs across the front 7.  It would also be an interesting case study in watching how a very good coach (Fangio) takes elite athletes and helps them play much better than they did when they had a bad coach (Mel Tucker at Georgia).

I think we should stay at 39 and grab a round 1 type talent with our second pick.

I think he will look for pass rush- So Landry and Carter are in play. If we go with OL, Williams, Daniels, and Hernandez are in play.

I guess you see who drops to you. Maybe WR is in play as the BPA or CB. We will get a good player and just take the best one. They all will help.

here is the order of the teams in front of us and lets try to figure what their needs are

1

Cleveland Browns

2

New York Giants

3

Cleveland Browns

From

4

Indianapolis Colts

5

Indianapolis Colts

From

6

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Browns have two picks and are still in need of RB, S and OL. Connor Williams/OT-Ronnie Harrison/S-D Guice/RB-R Jones/RB are in play.

The Giants are still in need of OL, CB and WR. C. Williams/OT-J. Jackson/CB-I. Oliver/CB and a big WR. Cortland Sutton/ WR are in play.

Indy has two choices ahead of us and need RB, OL, CB, and WR.  D. Guice/RB-R. Jones/RB-C. Sutton/WR-C. Kirk/WR-J. Jackson/CB-I. Oliver/CB- C. Williams/OT are in play.

Tampa Bay is still in need of RB, CB, S, and DE  Ronnie Harrison/S-D Guice/RB-R Jones/RB-J. Jackson/CB-I. Oliver/CB

So these players should still be available to us.

Daniels/OC

Hernandez/OG

Landry/OLB

Carter/OLB

I. Oliver/CB

Prediction: Roquan will be in the top ten in tackles in the NFL next year.

Roquan is tied for 9th in solo tackles thru 11 games and 7 total tackles from 10th with 5 games remaining. You may have under-estimated him.  :P

It took him a couple weeks or so to get into true game shape.  He's done what he needed to do after the holdout mess.  I remember at the time of the holdout we talked about how he needed to have a Boss like rookie season where he plays at a high level if he hopes to put the holdout behind him.  He's played at a high level this year.  Keep it up kid.  That holdout now feels like a distant memory.  Winning helps bury those things too.  His future looks bright here.
