Connorbear
Per Adam Shefner Bears are signing guard Cody Whitehair to a 5-year, $52.5 million extension that includes $27.5 million guaranteed, per sources. The deal, negotiated by Jeff Nalley and Graylan Crain, gives Whitehair the second-largest guarantee for a guard extension in NFL history. Stinger226
The per year is lower than I expected, so good for him and the Bears.
adam
Lock em' up! The entire O-Line locked up thru the end of next year (Long has club option for 2020), Daniels thru 2021, and Massie/Leno thru 2022. This will be a cheap deal by the time Daniels needs new money. ASHKUM BEAR
Glad to see Whitehair locked down. The old days of ignoring the oline seem to be gone. Pace needs to invest early in a OT next year as I am not big on counting on Cowerd to be that guy.
