AZ54
I would love to see some plays like this in a Bears uniform next year.
Stinger226
I've been looking at a lot of draft information lately. The middle of the second round , shows a lot of OL, TE and CBs to have their value there. I think that one of the second round picks is traded back for an extra 3 or 4 and we could fill the OL need and TE spot with good prospects. also grab a CB or QB prospect all aligned in the mid 2 nd to mid 3rd range. If Tru comes out, they're 6 names that keep getting mentioned in the first 2 rounds at QB. I don't if any are any good but to get one we have to draft early. Using the GBND REPORT top 100 rankings. We could get: 2a--Shane Lemieux/OG-- Oregon 2b-- Hopkins/ TE--Prudue 3- Brady White-- Memphis Haven't read enough to know if any of these players are any good, just licked due to the rankings. We are definitely going to be drafting offense early.
Alaskan Grizzly
Speaking of speculation; saw someone suggest Zach Miller could be a good TE coach. They are without one currently right?

He had a weekly segment on the SCORE when he was with the Bears and he was very, very good. Peace

We can say the oline and QB are also missing, but I dont think the Bears go too crazy in the draft there besides possibly filling the RG. If they can get Bryce Hopkins TE and the say OLB Terrell Lewis Alabama, they would fill 2 huge needs, but won't be able to trade down for more picks either. Sign Floyd to a friendly 3 year deal or cut him and have him rotate with a guy that reminds me a little of Von Miller. Draft with no trades: 2a - Bryce Hopkins TE Pur 2b- Terrell Lewis OLB Al 4- Ben Bredeson OG Mich (Road Grader) 5- DeeJay Dallas RB Mia (just for Club Dub) (also versatile player WR/RB/KR) 6a Charlie Heck OT UNC (Andy Hecks son/KC and Bear connection) 6b Luq Barcoo CB SDSU sleeper that will climb boards 7 Case Cookus QB N Arz St -another sleeper that will climb too
Stinger226
Burdison is rated one of top 3 guards, no way he makes it to the late 4th round. Hopkins and Lewis are mid second round picks by most ratings so that would be good value.
adam
This guy is projected anywhere from the 3rd to the 7th Round, Josiah Deguara from Cincinnati. He just broke the record for most catches in a career at CIN. Kelce and Celek are both from the Cincinnati program. If we could get him say in the 5th, it would be a steal. He just looks like he's going through the motions and doesn't play with any passion. We have to start a thread for Edge defenders.

Looks like a Trey Burton clone. A bit undersized but has good speed and can work all areas of the field.

Yeah, if we can get someone like this in the 5th or later, that seems to be some good value.

Hard to say what his verdict will be by April, but it is a route I can see the Bears going by grabbing a TE/OLB in round 2. The kid from ND could be one to they look at. We will need a OLB page for sure. The Bears don't need a superstar, just someone that can deliver the sacks when needed.

Give me the guy who can rush the passer and not so good defending the run. The ones who can do both will be gone in Rd 1.

I am good with TE/Edge/OL/SS in the 2nd. If we can address two of those holes in the 2nd, that would be great.

Draft a 2nd round talent that can compete with him and maybe competition can make the best out of the two and give us ammo if another team needs a OLB down the road. Hard to say if any of these TEs will grade out high enough, but I'd leave open or trade down some to gain a possible 3rd. For SS, Amos was a 4th rd, so there is hope finding one later too.
