AZ54
I think we'll have enough money to do one big FA signing. Who do y'all want? https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/ My money is on Austin Hooper. It will be expensive. Spotrac has his estimated contract at $10mil/yr. We will have no choice but to hope Burton recovers for 2020 but if not, long term it'll be Hooper and someone else. Another long shot pipe dream would be Chris Jones DE KC who I wanted in the draft. I'd pay him and line him up with Hicks. Forget the edge rush issues with Floyd because Hicks, Goldman, Jones, and Mack would wreck Olines. We'd have Nichols and Williams as backups and maybe we can hang onto RRH.
adam
I am thinking Brandon Scherff or Austin Hooper. Those were the weakest two units on the entire team, so we clearly need impact guys there.
Stinger226
They have a lot invested in OL so I don't think we go big contract there. A second round pick could easily start at RG. They will be bringing back Burton, Holtz, and Hoested and the draft isn't strong in TE so this could be an important offseason to get the TE. Hooper can block and catch. It's an important position for his offense. You only have one year left before you can cut Burton so its basically affecting the cap for one year. If not a TE , I would be all in on grabbing a pass rusher , JPP. Because at 31 his price wont be high. He had 8.5 sacks in 14 games. With us going to keep Floyd , he can be the 3rd OLB and give us production opposite Mack. Then in the draft get a OG and OT in the second round . The 2 most important needs for the team is fix the OL and TE spots. This does both.
BearFan PHX
we heard the same sunk costs argument about Parkey. Theyd have to bring him back because theyre paying him. But the money is already spent. You cant get it back. So the question is Leno or someone else? I believe they will have several new starters on the OL this coming year, no matter what the contract situations are.

Pace definitely can and will move on regardless of money if he thinks it's the right thing to do. One difference for Leno is that he's not a bad locker room guy. I don't know about easily, for how bad our offensive line is, Scherff and Whitehair could at least be a strength of it, especially with all the stunts that gave the line fits this year. I don't know how well a rookie will do next to Massie or Leno. They are both terrible. Also, a post-June 1 cut would lessen the blow for someone like Leno.
