I would say they sign a few more UDFAs and then look for a vet S. I prefer Eric Reid but there are several good ones out there.  Also Clayton Geathers has ties to Pagano when he was in Indy.

Every year it's hard to cover all your weaknesses you have.  They did bring back bring  Bush and brought in the KC guy but still needs to bring one more vet in. Also they brought in 2 OLs but that's probably not enough.

So 1 more OL and S and I think we're ready to go.

From my count, we have added 25 new players to the roster counting the new free agents, draft picks, and UDFAs. Here is how the positional groups are broken down:

OL - 6 (Ifedi, Spriggs, Hambright, Simmons, Eiselen, Traore)

TE - 4 (Graham, Kmet, Wagner, Harris)

CB - 4 (Johnson, Vildor, Burns, Roberson)

LB - 3 (Mingo, Mack, Smith)

Edge - 2 (Quinn, Gipson)

DL - 2 (London, McSwain)

QB - 1 (Foles)

WR - 1 (Mooney)

RB - 1 (Pierce)

K - 1 (Ahmed)

S - 1 (Lucas)

The team really put an emphasis on the OLine, can you tell? TE and CB equally addressed. Really surprising that we haven't even added a one safety to the roster with the loss of HHCD. I am hoping for Jefferson to fill that void. A vet RB to be RB2 and let Pierce and Nall battle for that last spot.

I read Pagano really likes Bush.  With EJAC and HAHA in front of him, not much playing time. We always dismiss people getting better already on the roster.  The only way you know is to let them play.  On saying that we still need to add a S. Kwit was a okay backup until last year.  Not he is a NFL starter. ( probably) . We look at a 4th round coming in and contributing but dismiss a 4th round pick that maybe took longer to develop.

DJ Fluker just got released.  Another Seattle guy. I would still like to sign Person.  After Monday 4 PM. All signings dont count against compensation picks.

Never knew about that Mon 4pm rule.  Very interesting as Pace sees several decent FA Safety options still available and decides to wait for that 4pm bell to ring.

Actually anyone cut from a team doesn't count either just UFAs. If I was in the NFL right now having a job would be better than just holding out for money. lots of players take cheap one year deals just to make sure they have a job.3 to 4 mil sounds good to me.

What's next?? Pace is obviously going for it in 2020 as he should. There's one guy out there that screams win now, and that's Jason Peters. He's old, but he still played at a really high level last year and I believe he was also apart of one of Castillo's lines in the past....Peters is definitely someone I would add and hope to get one or 2 more years out of.

Clayton Geathers is another veteran name out there who could come in and start right away.

I'm not as dialed in as I once was, but I feel like they could extend ARob and lower his cap hit for this year thus allowing the cap room for Peters and Clayton. Possibly also having some money leftover should a better OG option get released as well. I feel like Fluker and Ifedi are about at the same level.

Right now they have around 12 mil in cap space and half of that going to the draft. So we have enough to sign 2 more 2nd tier players. I say a S and RB.

Yep, I am thinking the same thing. Extend ARob, then add a SS and a vet RB. Jefferson and Freeman would be sweet. Another guy is Tavon Wilson, Safety for the Lions.

How about an ILB also? I see Mingo listed there, so maybe not a huge need but a possibility.

Everything's great man, life just got super busy with work for awhile and other stuff. Sports were kinda forced into the back burner. I had still followed box scores but I think I've seen 5 full games the last 2 years.

Butttt, I got a divorce soooo now I'm binge watching bears football so I can get all cought up. No spoilers.

I am glad things are going good, sorry about the divorce, those are never fun. No spoilers here, but it's been a wild ride, especially the last half of the 2018 season.  A lot of storylines to keep you occupied thru this quarantine for sure.

Lol. She was a whore, it's all good. I'm already talking to other girls.

It's been a fun ride so far. Once I get all caught up I'm gonna post more. Right now I'm still working 66ish hours a week on the road, so I'm watching one game a day and I've been laser focused on it.
