Stinger226
For us to come back after 12 penalties , totally bad ref calls, we have some positives. Fields is getting better. The defense played decent enough to win with EJac, Mack, Ogeltree out and Hicks going down during the game. Borom has a bright future. As much as we bring up Paces mistakes, Borom, Hebert, Mooney, and Kmet are big pluses. DM is very good and with Hebert in the wings, we are finally becoming a good running team. They started getting ARob into the game plan. I guess the more Fields develops the more everyone gets more targets. This is becoming fun even with all the glaring mistakes. Nagy definitely needs to be gone. It is always a bad leadership problem with a lack of discipline on your team.

This team is not near as far away as people think on offense. It needs help but I think we are close. New HC, Jenkins/Borom/Fields development, another wideout or two to join Kmet, Montgomery, Herbert, and Mooney...and this will become a very young, very fast, and very exciting offense (obviously Fields is key). Kmet blocked well and made plays in the passing game. We need to see more of it, but he has had 3 or 4 straight very good games (this one was less quiet than the past couple). I really like what I've seen from him - dude is a complete TE. He isn't Kettle or Kelce but he's pretty good. At this point, it is play design for me. Fields naked off PA to the side of an unblocked Watt who didn't bite on the run fake, come on. Let's run stick routes 70% of the time (which I hate btw) for a 20% completion pct, then run every other route 30% of the time for an 80% success rate, but keep going back to sticks. Two passes near the end of the game with what looks like only two receivers in a route, both double covered, leaving Fields no choice but to attempt to scramble. He needs some outlets and those just haven't been there for him.
