I like and respect Lovie but it was time for a change but the timing was certainly suspect when the Bears fired him.  Hopefully Smith has learned to be more adaptable going forward.  Lovie has a really cool beard!

I liked Lovie and he for sure was the best HC we had since Ditka.  If I remember right part of his downfall was he sought more control over the roster and we made some bad moves as a result.  The record the prior year I think was a little misleading and masked some of the issues I think that led to him being let go.  Still didn't make for a good look the way it went down.  I wish Lovie the best unless he plays the Bears.
