Alaskan Grizzly
Not sure how they’ll win just yet but I feel they will by 7-10. I predict great things from Morrow and Brisker.
adam
Bears first drive, 3 and out, conditions are crappy. O-Line got burnt on 3rd Down allowing a sack. SF starts out with 2 Jet Sweeps and a QB sneak.
adam
Huge takeaway by the defense! Jaylon Johnson with the Peanut Punch, Brisker's hit completes the fumble and recovery! Turnovers +
adam
Fields with INT, turnovers +

adam
QB's so far: Fields 2-5, 14 yds, 1 INT Lance 2-4, 37 yds
Stinger226
Its 0-0, besides some bad plays, good thing.
adam
SF breaks thru on the ground, Deebo scores, running over Jackson. Jackson -2 7-0 SF SF average starting LOS has been their 40. Bears have been their own 10. That has to change.
Pixote
Question the play calling for CHI. All SF needs to do is concentrate on Montgomery. Boring.

Jackson bounces off Samuel like a fly and has a pass go right by his head. He needs to go.

adam
Seems to be because of the field position. 3 drives started inside the 15: 2 yard line, 7 yard line, 12 yard line They can't do anything risky there.
adam
Bears need some jet sweeps. I haven't seen much play action either.
adam
Mitchell with knee injury and is out the rest of the game.
Alaskan Grizzly
Like the idea of swapping out runners. Monty’s running into a blob of people, Herbert is finding more open space and Justin’s running has helped. But not preferred. Like the roll out options for him. Liked the try to Pringle in the endzone. Just a bit long.
Alaskan Grizzly
The opening second half series had whiffs of Fangio’s ‘bend don’t break’ defense.
adam
FINALLY, broken play, Fields to Pettis for 51 yards for a TD!

Pixote
Wow, now we know Fields can hit a wide open receiver when the overage beaks down. ?
adam
I am surprised we have not seen Mooney or Kmet yet.
Alaskan Grizzly
Maybe a bit early but I think I’m seeing where this extra tough practices are paying off, especially on D. They’re definitely not “loafing” after the offense scores. SF looked a little gassed on that last series.
adam
Huge 3 and out for the defense after the Bears TD. Now the offense needs a sustained drive for a score. At some point that preseason conditioning should kick in. Which team has better conditioning. The Rams rested their starters all preseason and looked gassed by the 4th. Yep, and outside of Jackson, the other 10 are all tackling and going to the ground with the offensive player. Roquan seems to be heating up with some hard tackles.
