adam
Here are the teams with extra picks in the top 3 rounds: HOU: #2, #12, #33, #65, #73 SEA: #5, #20, #37, #51, #83 DET: #6, #18, #48, #55, #81 CAR: #9, #39, #61, #93 PHI: #10, #30, #62, #94 PIT: #17, #32, #49, #80 NYG: #25, #57, #89, #100 Even after blowing the 1st pick, HOU is still in decent shape, 5 picks in the top 73. SEA and DET both have 4 picks in the top 60. When I was thinking about trading partners, I was looking into which teams had more flexibility to move up. Compared to someone like IND, who the Bears are linked to, would basically not pick again until the 4th round if they move up to #1.
Stinger226
With the sake of moving down a couple times ask from Indy to throw in Buckner for the 1 spot and then trade with Carolina for 4 and ask them to throw in Burns in the deal. A front line of Rookie, Buckner, rookie, Burns might not be to bad. You eliminate the growing pains of a bunch of rookies in the DL. Would you trade with Detroit to get 6, 48, 81 and a first next year?
killakrzydav
Id rather 6, 18, and 55 and next years second.

Chicago pick 1 = 3000.

Would you guys do that?, 6-18-53-
BearFan PHX
That's the old chart, and it doesnt fit what's been going on for the last 10 years. Here is the revised chart that more accurately fits the last 10 years of actual trades. Our #1 pick is worth more than the old chart would say. https://www.patspulpit.com/2018/4/21/17256758/2018-nfl-draft-value-chart-rich-hill Our pick is worth 1000 points. Detroit would have to give: R1 P6 (446 points) R1 P18 (286 points) R2 P17 (118 points) 2024 R1 pick (150 points) I'd take that in a heart beat. And that's just the FAIR value. If a bidding war starts, who knows what could happen.

I think whatever we do, we need that #1 next year. Its worth more to us strategically than the 2nd this year. If we got picks 6, 18 and a third rounder (under your chart) to make it a first next year, thatd be worth it. Also remember a 2024 pick is worth one round later. So the 6th pick in the first round in 2024 is worth the 6th pick in the second round this year in value.
