It's a great throw, and the kind of deep ball accuracy we KNOW FIelds has from prior seasons. But I think it reveals his more cautious nature when it isnt a free play. Now of course everyone is more confident on a free play of course - not my point - my point is that Fields has to be confident to let it ri[ when guys are open on regular plays too. adam Posted December 10, 2023 Author Report Share Posted December 10, 2023 I love that last play of the 3rd quarter, they stacked the left side, DET had 8 defenders to that side, allowing Foreman to be wide open on the right. They need more misdirection with Fields and motion. A guy in motion, Fields going one way, RB or WR going the other way. Impossible to defend. That ball just softly landed in his hands like it was handed to him by God.
