Its just someones opinion, doesnt mean their right. They were not good but at least showed up in the 3 game winning streak. Now injuries has made them terrible. Looks

Borom/LT   (bad but healthy now), guess its better than a PS call up. Jake Curhan as backup?

Jenkins/LG  cross your fingers he stays healthy. Kramer is the backup?

Shelton/C  the very average player is now  the foundation of our line. Kramer

Bates/RG   I think he comes back now, has been practicing. Kramer or Davis as backup?

Pryor/RT  I think he moves here and Curhan as backup.

The best think we can do is run the ball, easier for the line to adapt to NE doesnt have a lot of talent there.

You can have 2 TE scheme and help chip the ends.

Simplify it for Caleb, he is 8th in the league on holding the ball  time, quick throws, roll him out, give him two reads or run. He clearly will be in trouble trying to make 4 reads with a lousy line. Play action if the running game is working. The only deep threat he has a connection with is Odunze, so put DJ at the Slot. His big game last yr was wihen played the slot.

How about Allen in the slot, he is a little slower and has a niche to get himself open. Put DJ at the Z and Odunza at X.

yeah, why havent we been doing that from the beginning. Seems like Waldron sees Xs and Os but doesnt consider personnel.

Also there are a lot of plays where WRs are in the same area. Thats either bad coaching because the play isnt sound, or its bad coaching because players dont know where to be.

Real tough with linemen out. I’d like to see Kiran but he is so green. My guess is Bates goes in at guard and Pryor swings out to right tackle with Borom on left side.

thats a good guess. other possibility is Borom - Jenkins - Bates - Pryor - Curhan

or even Borom - Jenkins - Shelton - Pryor - Bates or Curhan

Bates might not even start. I sure dont know. But they do have options.

Allen does play out of the slot most of the time. If you go 2 TEs, one of them come off the field. DJ is playing on the outside but CW is not getting him the ball cleanly. Hard to blame DJ on this when CW has a 43% or 49% (cant find the post)miss rate throwing to him. With all the blame being thrown around, CW is the worst QB in the league over the last 2 games. Dont understand why people avoid critizing him, he deserves it.

He deserves all the criticism along with the receivers not being on the same page on where to be. CW has been hit many times (oline) and his timing is not the greatest either.  Not sure how well his feet are planted since I haven't looked too closely there

OK, I am really interested to see the OL, especially Bates. Bates was the first player out of the tunnel. I dunno what to read into that if anything.

Davis is ruled out, so we will continue to be seeing more of the options we have. Thats good for the future whether they are good or horrible. We need to know what we have.

LETS GO BEARS!

Clearly the main promlem is CW. Had time to throw, holds the ball to long. Swift was check down  and open.

youre obviously right, we should have kept Justin like you said.

I get the idea that youre the eternal optimist, and so you dont like to criticize in season, but what is this? I mean youre entitled to whatever opinion you want of course, but are you really going negative this early on our rookie QB?

I totally agree he held the ball to long there by the way. I will wait for the all 22 to be sure who was or wasnt open, but I also agree it looked like Swift was available.

Keep in mind that Eberflus has had 3 years, and made similar unforced erorrs over and over. Caleb is still very early. If he looks like this in year 3, I will be saying we need to move on from him. But it's early for him in ways that it isn't for Eberflus.

So this isnt all negative or all positive as some kind of default - its each player or coach in proper time

Im like you ,I like and want CW to be our all pro but we cant close our eyes when he plays and pretend he doesnt make mistakes. I must have watched 20 podcaste and football shows and many people bought that up. I dismissed it but the first series showed that. Another big problem is they said, that I believe true, that Waldron is calling games that give CW to much leaway to do what he wants.

Its quite simple, run the ball, keep it simple for CW and dont let him play Caleb ball.(not my term) kyle Long They do it for Daniels and he is florishing

Oh I totally agrtee on that play, and the sack later - it looks like hes holding it too long. The all 22 will confirm, but right now, I agree thats what it looks like.

It was the "clearly the main problem" I was responding to. On that play? Likely. Overall? Way too soon in my opinion.

Let m rephrase that, the QB position between Waldron trying to please CW to much and CW still in the rookie stage of his game. This is all going to get better but needs to happen today.

I'm worried how much he's regressed. We should be seeing the game coming to him but I can't see anything at the moment. The play calling isn't helping but surely he can improvise. Our offence is a hard watch and no better than last year. I’m not being a negative Nigel but the eye testis ugly.

Ugly performance. At this rate, with our schedule, we could be looking at 4-13.

I thought we would have a decent chance of improving on last seasons record.

We just can't seem to get decent QB play. I was behind JF and questioned that the Bears didn't give him any weapons or an above-average offensive line.

I expected above-average to good QB play from CW considering he has weapons and the offensive line no worse than last year.

I’m trying to be positive but CW is not showing much. I don't subscribe to channels that enable me to look a the all 22. Is the WR, TE and RBs play poor because if they are playing reasonably well, the poor performance must be down to CW not getting it or is it the play calling is so bad.
