This is what the Bears are, hot garbage. Right now, all the rookie QBs seem to be better players than CW.  This team falls on the GM.  I'd give him one more year and if he cannot make an instant winner, he needs to be fired.

I dont think he drafted the wrong QB, but lots of things blowing up on this offense. Bad injuried OL, bad play calling. I hope on the no huddle offense he is not  letting Caleb call those plays. If true, Flus needs to be fired when the game is over. The kid aint ready yet and this situation isnt developing him.

They announced CW starter before even setting foot on the practice field.  He has been regressing every week, had 2 good games, maybe.  They are ruining this kid and he'll end up being a bust unless they find a miracle way to save him

Its a team loss but CW has not performed when playing against a rookie QB. Where are the wow plays that a top level QB should be making? To this point I haven't seen the generational talent which others were promoting before and after the draft.

I would have expected CW’s pride would have ben enough for him to put perform Maye and Daniels. Unfortunately that has not been the case.

Silver lining: Caleb has been sacked 18 times the last 3 games and somehow didn't turn the ball over once while trailing 99% of the time. That's really hard to do. He also hasn't thrown a touchdown since the London game.

Put simply: We wasted a season of this kid's career because our idiot GM couldn't move off of an obvious bad coach that nobody would have hired had he been on the market. The irony that he said on the MaCafee show last year that he was hired to break a cycle, only to find himself continuing said cycle.

Hate this for Caleb. I still have high hopes for him, but you really have to consider throwing Tyson Bagent to the wolves if they don't do anything about Eberflus the rest of this season while the O-Line continues to be in shambles.

I am worn out with this team.  The constant is the owners, who continue to make money while the team is poor.  I am not spending any more money on the Bears until they get respectable.  And not as much time either.  If I performed half as bad as this team has for the last twenty years, I would have been fired and unemployed years ago.

This is where I'm at too. i think either by shceme or effort, the WRs havent been open much and the OL has been a sieve. Not that there isnt blame for Caleb too - but I dont think he is the weak link, and still has a very bright future with the right coaches.

yup. 100%. gotta fire the coaches and see what a guy like Kliff Kingsbury could do with Caleb.

I see the one read offense he has at washington and it's doing great because the playcalling rhythm is so good. Caleb would be doing much better than even Daniels has with a guy like that I believe.

For me, the choice for HC is either Johnson or Kingsbury, with Johnson being far and away the preferred favorite.

Knowing the Bears, though, they won't even look at Johnson because of his supposed salary demands, and they'll pass on Kingsbury despite his connection to Caleb, because he's too Hollywood for a MaCaskey. It'll probably be another understated good-old-boy who speaks in cliches and acronyms.

I'd add Klint and Klay Kubiak, hire both HC and OC.

It really was unacceptable to stick with Flus. A few of us all said it at the time - I hoped I was wrong but man he is not a head coach.

So what happens tomorrow ?

I think Waldron gets canned and Flus gives up DC play calling to become full time HC.

Everyone needs to be fired but that probably isnt going to happen now.

Hard to believe that a 4-2 (played bad) lost to a good team on the road to a Hail Mary play and it wreaked our season.
