You know it is bad when Jaylon Johnson is making comments AND playing like crap. HIs play has dropped off a cliff and Sunday was his worst game since 2022.

True but he is not the type to give up in games. His atitude is his best asset. Could just have been a bad game.

Not that it matters much, but if they are going to keep Flus for the remainder of the season, he should be forced to give up defensive play calling to Washington, and let him concentrate solely on game management since it seems that he is overwhelmed with both duties during the game.

he really is a muppet. I dont particularly want him fired mid season. I mean I'd love to on some emotional level, but it doesnt accomplish anything. If I were GM os the Bears starting today, I'd be looking forward to the offseason and a new coach, and not necessarily fire Flus right now.

I also don't want to get over my skis about Thomas Brown. He may well turn out to be an excellent head coach someday, but for me he'd just be another candidate out there, and I wouldnt give him any extra credit points for currently being on the team, or for whatever he manages to get out of Caleb.

We have to chase greatness with all options on the table, and not fall in love with our own guys.

Me either, but is there a better audition than the live thing? I mean if the Bears had any interest in promoting Brown or any other coach or coordinator to HC, why not see how they actually perform on the job before hiring them to do it without the interim tag?

I agree that Brown should stay in the booth as the OC calling plays, and let someone else make the 3 decisions per game on the sideline that Flus the Muppet is incapable of doing.

The New Flus Muppet show.  Staring the chicago bears

"Get fired up Dragon Slayer.  Ready Spider-Man.  Ready to hit Sandman and Hitman, I know the Predator is hungry. Dino Dex, my man.   Hey Bae, luv ya man, but we luv One too"

"I told the locker room that at least we have each other, that is all we need."

I suspect that if this is the muppet show, I may be one of the old men up the box seats heckling LOL

I just read his post game quotes - he was defending that operation. That is it - he defended his stupidity against Washington and is doing same here. They absolutely have to fire him tonight / tomorrow. You can’t let someone get out there and defend that shit - that will create all kinds of toxicity. Go to Hoke or Hightower (they don’t have any good candidate - other than I’m not giving it to Brown - let him focus on offense).

Yes, Brown must not be saddled with HC. We are getting good development with Caleb under him. Make him HC and we take a big step back.

I haven’t watched much this year.

But watching just one game should be enough of a reason to fire this dude.

3rd and short, Bears jump offside.

OL can’t pick up stunts.

OL caving in every play and there are no outlets or quick passes.

Horrible replay challenge.

Franchise rookie QB doesn’t slide when in danger on the sideline.

Catastrophic end of game clock management.

That is ALL COACHING. He deserves to be fired tonight.

I think I am the curse. I moved into our townhome back when they hired Trestman and as our family expanded we basically had 2 playoffs in this house and a ton of turd coaches.

In 2 weeks (maybe even by next weeks game) my wife and I move to a slightly bigger house as our family has grown…maybe that house will bring home lots of super bowls hahah. All sports teams stunk - but otherwise house was good to us haha.

Hopefully next one brings good health and good luck to our family and our sports teams!!!

sounds like your house is in order even as Halas Hall isnt. And of course that's much more important than our loveable, frustrating but ultimately not as important Bears :)
