Stinger226
I think Poles made the final decision on Flus, he came in with (work your ass off ) attitude and as a new GM that probably sounded good. A run the ball first type, play good defense type of coach. Remember Valeb was not in anyone's thought process at that time. They had a 1st round QB in Fields but he concentraited on fixing the cap space and trying to build a roster. Last yr left some questions with Flus but they finished 5-3 with Caleb coming in and Getsy going out, I understand what he was thinking. The whole year proved Flus isnt a HC but coming from upstairs you ride the storm out and change at the end of the season. Flus has given away 4 games this yr and no longer has Waldron to blame. Poles can gain some respect by firing him today. Poles will be here next yr but can he hire the right coach? We will find out. Lets say they fire everybody, the same people are hiring the new regime, better to at least stick with a GM that asked for 4-5 yrs and has us on a upward trajectory. The Bears were not bringing in Harbaugh last yr, look at his contract and the control they gave him. 5 year 80 million was nothing the ownership would ever do. He is the second highhest paid coach in football, Sean Payton is first. Andy Ried has a 20 million extension but doesnt kick in until next yr. Tomlin got an extention that pays him 16 mil starting next yr.

No one near Moore, he would have scored and won the game. I missed that play in real time while watching the game. So many plays that changed the game, just bad karma on the Bears right now.
